Real McClappy Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Indeed! Must be Drew's last year maybe? 1
BillsFan4 Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Not the team I’d have necessarily expected to trade for him. But they have very little behind Drew Brees, and they were after a QB last year. So it’s not all that surprising. Wonder if if they will try to re-sign him, or if they just view him as insurance for this season.
Boatdrinks Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Makes sense as the guy still has potential. Brees is nearing the end, 1

Mr. WEO Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Other than this past year, the Saints offense (since Brees) is definitely not a "great fit" for a low output QB like Bridgewater. I guess they assume they will run on teams like last year for many years to come.
Kirby Jackson Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 It makes perfect sense. The Saints are trying to make their run at the Super Bowl. Bridgewater protects them in the event of a Brees injury. Their window is now. 5
Alphadawg7 Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Welcome to starting in the NFL Sam Darnold 1
BuffaloRebound Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Wonder what they gave up. Basically a 1 year rental. 1

aristocrat Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 What has teddy done to earn a trade? Does anyone remember him playing? It’s like the injury made people forget he wasn’t that good. Good backup but not a starter

ghostwriter Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Good. I always liked Teddy on a personal level, hated seeing a player I liked so much playing for the Jets. Wish him all the best. 2
Blokestradamus Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Currently jabbing at a Drew Brees voodoo doll.
