He's still a ways away from being ready to successfully lead an NFL offense against starting calibre competition. It will not ruin Allen’s development to start him. It may send him to the ICU though. Look, McCoachspeak said Nate Peterman was ready to start vs LAC last season because of how he looked in practice blah blah blah. Well, he wasn’t. It did not however, ruin him. When Allen eventually does start this season, he will not be more prepared to do so than Peterman. It will simply be time to carry on with the “ process” or whatever.
