We need to trade Clay right now.

I wouldn't want Nick or Logan cut. Croom looks like the real deal too.

Clay is expendable. He plays like Mario Williams 50% of the time anyway.

I don't care if he's traded for a crap-shoot OL or a 6th round pick.

Let's up the bar.  I want to see ESPN's predictions on rosters for week 2 of the regular season, taking into account where the cut players end up.  The only wild card in this are the unpredictable injuries between now and then.

They are not getting rid of Clay.  He's still a very good player and just what this offense needs.  At this point, we should NOT be looking to get rid of receiving talent

Well then somebody needs to light a burning hot fire under his arse.

What is the obsession with Logan Thomas? He’s a fringe roster guy. Why on earth would you trade your proven and most productive guy in favor of guys like that?

And no one is trading for Clay either with his age and salary cap hit.

Yes, I know that we got someone to take Dareus off our hands, but trading Clay doesn't seem realistic or anything remotely resembling a good move

Croom, Lee, O'Leary/Logan... 3 or 4 guys. Wasn't saying keep Logan over Clay.

One small factor for Logan is I guess he could be emergency QB if ever needed, especially if they only kept 2 QBs.

I'm just really down on Clay when I see him playing soft. He's paid A LOT. Need to see 100% effort out of him.

It is amazing how much people love to go out of their way to criticize Charles Clay.  He has been about as consistent a player as we have had these past few years.
