Agreed. But he was called a "tool" because the author was mocking his "short-sighted" thinking. I suppose that term should be expanded to include most owners. Just saying singling him out for a comment is dumb when it represents a widely held position in that room.

I agree.  You can't single out Pegula for being the voice for a room full of rich guys who seriously want Trump to know they are solidly behind him---lining up to kiss his ass.

Given the predominant attitude of this  board against the owners, I'm surprised most wouldn't look forward to reading a book like this as it is likely to confirm their worst suspicions of the group as a whole.  Pegula has been in lockstep with all of them since he showed up.  Why be surprised to read this?  Or disappointed?

Love or hate Trump but the NYT is still a commie rag.

Is that you FoxNews?

In between the rhetoric, all we actually learned was that Terry was worried about Trump.

Given Trump’s interest in the NFL and anthem protests, that worry seems legitimate.

And what is fox news?  Real Newz?

Can we please leave politics to PPP? There's enough finger pointing going on in the world, I'd rather not have to read it on a site I come to for distraction. That's aimed at both of you.

Terry Pegula built his business empire from nothing, so I would tap the brakes on the whole "Terry is dumb" discussion. Some very intelligent people are just not great speakers.

In fact, listening to some very well-known authors speak is excruciating, and you would think that there would be a correlation between the written word and the spoken word. There isn't always.

Terry is an engineer and a businessman, not an orator.

So nice to see the usual suspects up to their usual stupidity. Utter idiocy to call a self made billionaire who saved the franchise for this wretched fan base anything BUT a hero. Go ahead, toolboxes. Queue up your bon  jovi records.

The author's comment really wasn't all about his skills as an orator.....

You've never read the New York Times...

I have. It’s a paper on par with Pravda. That is to say it’s an arm of a political party AND an intelligence apparatus.

I was responding to the analysis of Terry's comment and how he has trouble expressing himself.

It was the content and the sentiment Pegula was expressing that the author was commenting on, I believe.

Pavada could take lessons in being so insidious.
