With that said...Coleman is here now. Might as well let him run up and down the field for a few weeks. Because the plan is long term, not having NP as the QB for any appreciable length of time. If Coleman can be a deep threat WR, you keep him around. It’s a big if right now, but the money says they won’t give up on it so fast. Maybe by mid season he’s contributing. 1
Canadian Bills Fan Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 I'd keep him for depth. WR's always seem to go down during the season. It will be good to have some depth 1
Art in PNS Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 I don't see Ray Ray being high on anyone's waiver wire wish list. Potential yes , production very limited against 3rd stringers . I also don't see him making the squad outright, but I've been wrong many times so what do I know. 1
BringBackOrton Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Corey Coleman was brought in to motivate Zay Jones.
Green Lightning Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Coleman's not going anywhere this year.

Good point. WR money is getting bigger by the minute. It’s worth the small investment to see if anything pans out. He’s only been here a few weeks. I think they’ll hang on to Coleman for awhile before they decide to move on or not. 2
DuckyBoys Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 He's a reclamation project with upside Let's see if the Bills can motivate him Evidently the Browns said he lacked effort/preparation 1

Boatdrinks, remember when we were paying (a few years ago, mind you) Percy Harvin 6 million dollars...and he did almost nothing.
DuckyBoys Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 They need to find some long term answers at WR so the investment in a young player who was a high draft pick just two years seems a worthy one at its cost. Benjamin wont be here in 2019 (I'd be shocked) Is Zay Jones the player who set records at college or the invisible man from last year Rest are scrubs/special teams guys
QCity Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 1) His cap hit is only $1.5M 2) His contract is fully guaranteed anyway 3) Rodak doesn't know what he's talking about here
MAJBobby Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 You keep him because he is fast and cost controlled and still has a 5th year option.
