Buffalo03 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 He may be 35 but he has been a pro bowler in the past and had a decent season with the packers last year. Why not bring him in on a one year deal? How much worse can he be?
Mark Vader Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 At this point.....Why not? We should look at as many O-Linemen as we can. 1
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Evans is fine. Joeckel is 26 and has to be better than DuckAss and Mill-air. Beadles and Boone could also be upgrades. I have no idea why they haven't even been in for workouts. The Duck being mauled by Bengals had to be a highlight for Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom." There have been gentler prison rapes. He was abused like an altar boy in Rome. I seriously think Ducasse has circular toes or a heel implant that rolls. 1 1
Clyde Smith Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Every year for the past 6-7 years, this guy name keeps coming up. Yeah bring him in, why not! 1

Bray Wyatt Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 My dad is 73, played OL for Princeton for a year or two back in the 60's, he has had his meniscus repaired via surgery, but I think he would be an upgrade at this point. Should be well rested imo 2 4
Buffalo03 Posted August 27, 2018 Author Posted August 27, 2018 Why he hasn't been brought in yet is beyond me

26CornerBlitz Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Many of these veteran players won't be signed by a team until after week 1 such that 2018 salaries won't be guaranteed for the entire season. That said, I'd like to see Beane pursue all available options including Evans. 1
blacklabel Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Didn't he retire? I know he came here on a FA visit when Whaley was GM and turned down their offer so he may not wanna play here.

He was listed on a thing I saw earlier in the top 50 free agents available

I really think that if Joeckel's knees are able to hold up he's a "must have" at this point. Busted at LT but looked good at guard. 1
GreggTX Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 He can't be worse, but his best days are a distant memory and I emphasize "distant" here.

ndirish1978 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Isn't he the guy that wouldn't sign here because his wife didn't want to come?
