I am very upbeat.  We have our starting quarterback and McCoy will be back to make the line better.  We are in good shape

Murphy looked good, Ivory had a nice power run too. I really like our running backs, Peterman should go in as the starter. I'm a big big big fan of Josh Allen but the team responded to Peterman.

Last year was a bit of a mirage.

I fear that this year is going to be real . . . real depressing unless they can sort out the offensive line and get some kind of pass rush.

I feel bad for whoever the QB is going to be and hope that the fans and media will not be so quick to throw our QBs under the bus given the horrible offensive line that we have managed to put together.

We all want josh to succeed but peterman is just better right now.  Don’t despair, josh was the right pick

The offensive line is hot garbage.

+1. The OP maybe a negative Nelly, but it's hard to argue he's not wrong. It's like the saying, just because I'm a hypochondriac doesn't mean I'm not sick.

I had previously thought the floor for this team was around 6 wins. With that oline it could be half that.

No, we will win seven games.  Tough schedule at first but we will be okay in the second half.  Don’t quit on the team

Anyone who did not see this coming a mile away is totally clueless. Last year was fun but let's face it that was a total joke of an AFC to get into the playoffs. The offensive line is terrible and we have no receivers. We all knew this year was going to be a tough one and after another draft and a major free agency Run next year, Trot Allen out there and off we go...

The thing with Peterman is his timing, he has an impeccable sense of knowing where his receivers will be in their routes and that's extremely important. Allen isn't there yet, I think he will be someday but he rifles balls in late because the game hasn't slowed down enough yet, not ready yet.

Listen to McD's press conference from Friday.  Tim Graham kept pushing him to answer how much they were treating this like a regular season game.  McD finally said around 50% --they were more interested in the routine of the week than scheming for the Bengals.

https://www.buffalobills.com/video/sean-mcdermott-it-gets-right-back-to-routine

Do you really think they would put Groy or Ducasse one on one with Geno Atkins in a regular season game?  It could have killed Josh -- but they did it.   That is vanilla as it gets.

I love the way Josh held up.  I love his toughness.  What I saw today has me even more excited.  The one miss was the would-be TD to Clay -- but that will come.   Other than that I saw a lot of talent and toughness from the kid.

Make no mistake, this will be a challenging year,  just like last year.  We need more talent on the O-Line but we also need to cover our deficiencies through real game planning. To go ass over tea kettles about this game is an overreaction.    Our coaching staff last year proved it can scheme and Daboll is light years ahead of Rico.  Let's hold off on trashing this season before the regular season starts.

I just keep wondering how Vladimir Ducasse still has a job in the NFL, that guy has been getting QB's killed since I can remember, that play where they showed him getting manhandled and pushed back all the way into Josh Allen should get him cut, play after play with that guy and he's a G, time to find some other stooge to take this stooges spot and this is why I didn't want Josh Allen starting year 1, this OL is going to get him dead.

Why’s he being singled out?  The entire oL is garbage except for Dawkins

The bottom line is the O-line . The best thing to do is start Peterman and see if he can redeem himself from his 5 int game which wasn't all him since we know some of the O-line was just letting the chargers in because iof closeness to Tyrod. If your recall he didn't do bad in the snow game until injury. Btw, what is up with this great secondary even I've been bragging on, they looked like fools out there.....smh

It was alarming all the passes over the middle that we could not handle.

As far as over reactions, we got abused in the 1st 1/2 by a so so team with a so so QB, so whatever is going to

happen this year, all we can do is cry about the talent, coaching, injuries, and refs and we can't change things. Just

enjoy our lives and NFL football the next few months.

Again, we can't change things on this board, so if you can't handle the dissapointment  of the Bills season, than go

watch opera or some porn and maybe those results will make you happy.

There is a reason that people that know more than we do, like the writer who works for SI predicts a 4-12 year.

If it turns out better than that, great, but don 't expect miracles.

Who?

And the team looked pretty good preseason week 1. It looked ok week 2. This week it looked bad. Who knows what it will look like week 1?

How has the 1st team o looked? I think the rest is rather meaningless in my opinion. The 1st team offense only looked good in the 1st game, and when they've been left out there vs other teams 2's the last two weeks.

Granted McCoy helps but idk how much. They've looked bad, which I expected this year. I they have a future but this year I think will be a difficult one.

Oh man. You're gonna get killed for this post. Don't you know the media, especially the national media, don't pay attention to the Bills and know nothing. Oh yea, and they also hate the Bills. According to this board.

The OL has bad moments, I was watching Ducasse get man handled, did you not see the play where the announcer even says wow he gets pushed all the way back into Josh Allen? I thought Mills  and Teller played decent.

This from a guy who started a thread called "Disgusting and Depressing" after a preseason game...

I would say have fun at the opera; however, my guess is that it will be porn...

Sounds good except the part about trotting Allen out there and expecting him to be some shiny new toy.

So far he is showing to be the same Josh Allen we knew at Wyoming.  Hard to say where he is for sure until he plays some regular season games though.

There's nothing weirder than listening to announcers spend three hours talking about how amazing Bills fans are, only to come here and a bunch of fans schitting purple Twinkies over a preseason game that is leading into a season the rest of the world knows will be designed to compete, evaluate and grow for the long term.

But meanwhile...get me someone to blame, stat!

LOL.  Is that how you describe what might otherwise be called "sucking?"

You should go for Russ' old job at the Bills.

Most of us would actually call it  "predictable sucking."

That you were completely unable to see it coming is not my issue. Perhaps if you spent more time understanding the components of the team going into this game, you  could have saved yourself a lot of agita.

They've lost virtually their entire OL from last year, in front of a rookie QB who's never started an NFL game at this pace, without our primary RB, with a management team trying to figure out not only who gets to make the 53, but who will start, while simultaneously  throwing in a new OC.

This is probably where you start telling me how I'm making excuses, and we should have depth and direction to overcome all of that, and if that is the case, I suggest you stop posting while you're dreaming.

But hey...disgusting and depressing is another way to go, I guess.
