SCBills Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 (edited) I think the bigger question is not “if” he starts .. that’s a given should he play well. I think the real question may be “how does this affect how McBeane look at any players that may become available via trade and/or cuts?” Edited August 26, 2018 by SCBills
BillsSbSoon Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 It would be awfully hard to not start him if he plays well today, its that simple really.

Oldie, I think it’s Allen’s job with just a mediocre day. This kid doesn’t seem like a few bad passes or games will make him wilt. 1

FearLess Price Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 They traded up to 7. If Josh plays well today he is starting. Its over. Lets go Rook!
ProcessAccepted Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Not trying to state the obvious but If Allen shines today Coach McD will just continue to follow the process. I really don't think it's whether Allen is the best qb or not it's more a question of whether he's ready to take on the role.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 It's possible McD publicly states the competition is still ongoing so as not to let the Ravens know anything. But in all the closed practices which are most Allan is getting all the work. That may work for a few days, but eventually the truth will leak out, and then likely he'll announce thta they are going with Allen.
John from Riverside Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 We cut him before he can throw 5 interceptions in a half of course
PromoTheRobot Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 I think the process has always been to challenge Allen every step of the way. Each level he passes he gets a new test. This is his final exam.
The Final Word Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 It think everyone is missing the point here. Let me clarify for you. It is not a hard decision to make. Josh Allen was their target for over six months per to the draft. He is the quarterback of the future and will be not starting this year until after game 6. This is the final word 1 1

BmarvB Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Allen can't do jack behind that line. Run blocking ok, Pass protection????????
QCity Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 The bigger question is if he'll be in concussion protocol after today.
