atlbillsfan1975 Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 This is not all bad. This shows that Allen needs time with ones at game speed. First play of game showed Clay wasn’t ready for the pass velocity. Back shoulder pass to Benjamin is a timing play. Nothing to panic about from the QB position . The online is another story.

Without McCoy this is arguably the worst offense in the NFL on paper. But he hasn't been decisive with the ball. He's taken his drop, and not pulled the trigger several times. At least 3 sacks have been a result of him deciding to not throw the ball. I'm not suggesting guys are open, but good QBs know how to not take a sack. Some of those sacks he needs to throw the ball at a receivers feet. I get that there's been constant pressure, but at a couple of those sacks could have been avoided if he'd just got rid of the ball and thrown it incomplete. Dude - please

So you’d rather have him throw it to the feet of his first read rather than try and get to his next progression? I dont see how anyone can fairly judge Allen after this. The same could be said for anyone we had at QB today with the kind of pressure we’ve seen given up. Edited August 26, 2018 by Bangarang 1
Chandler#81 Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Just chiming in. I’m afraid to read this thread. My 2cents; Allen hasn’t been given a fair chance with the bumbling team around him 4 1
aceman_16 Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 I soooo wish this was NOT the 3rd preseason game bit the first. Look terrible.
SCBills Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Bright side is no offensive line has ever looked this bad all season. We’re on pace for double digit sacks per game. That cant, won’t happen...right... RIGHT!?

H2o Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Castillo should be fired, Ducasse should be released, and Miller relegated to towel boy all at halftime. 1

transplantbillsfan Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 All part of the process guys... McDermott is lulling our week 1 opponent Baltimore into thinking they can absolutely dominate us both offensively and defensively by asking his players to lay down and get dominated in the preseason dress rehearsal. It's all just part of the master plan. 2
