During halftime warmups Bowman was hit in the head by a stray football. Bowman was not wearing a helmet and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.  No word yet on the exact injury, most likely either a concussion or hit in the eye.

Very odd set of circumstances, no doubt.

How did you switch from a noon game that ended at 3:15 over to a game that started at 3:30 on the same network?

 

I enjoyed the Penn St game, but then again I'm a Penn St homer.  Bedlam has been exciting lots of points on the board.  If you prefer defense, Northwestern@Iowa on Fox is 7-3 midway thru the 3rd

I got Penn St at noon of course, but the rest of the schedule isn't that interesting.

ND-Cuse from Yankee Stadium 2:30. Bad unis tho.

 

tOSU at Maryland at noon. Shouldn’t be a nail biter but probably will be. 

 

UC at UCF is a good matchup, probably not of interest to anyone who doesn’t follow either program. I follow UC a bit they have some former tOSU coaches on staff and a lot of CBus area kids play there.

The only thing it would unleash is someone overtaking Michigan for the 4th spot. Osu isn’t getting in unless the committee has no other choice. It’s pretty obvious. They could win out and everyone else lose one and i still don’t think they would get in over a 1 loss ND, Oklahoma or WVU or even a 2 loss LSU. Committee has shown what they think of them.  Don’t lose by 29 to Purdue.

actually the playoffs will be Bama, two "whatever's" that will be steamrolled by Bama, and whoever loses to the team that Alabama beats in the Championship
