Why?  From what I am tracking Mack is in Buffalo training this offseason during thr hold-out

Well he could take off, circle the airport 2 or three times and then land again, that would be a good sign  eh!

Before we attempt to unload assets and a HUGE chunk of money, do we know what he prefers with his wings?  Bleu cheese or ranch?  Could be the deal breaker.

I don't think its even a question, a man like Mack knows its Bleu Cheese or bust. His Momma didn't raise no fool I'm sure

Mack would be a process guy. With that contract it would be hard to offer a 1st though.

what does this mean?

I tell people all the time if they come to Buffalo, order wings and ask for Ranch dressing they will literally be kicked out of the restaurant haha

However IF we are going to trade for and give up big money for someone on the DL. I would much rather it be Aaron Darnold over Mack.

I've said Hughes and a 1st.

Hughes nets you $6.35 million in cap savings.

Lawson nets you $1.38.

My question to all would be IF the trade goes down AND Hughes is still on the team, where does Hughes go?

Both play the right DE position.

I like that Hughes and a first would work.

Cmon McBean let’s get his done!!!!!!

Just the thought of having Mack and Edmunds lining up at LB for us makes me go from 6 to 12

I think Mack would line up at DE for us.

Process reaching critical mass....

If they feel strongly enough about Allen to forfeit draft picks I say go for it.    Even if we gave him a 3 year extention We'd have him for the bulk of his prime anyway and I think they could massage the cap to keep him around and still sign Josh Allen when he comes up.

My thoughts exactly. If we already have a QB, it's time to get any big-time talent and get good before we have to pay Josh 40mil a year at the end of his contract (if he becomes what they think he can).

That seems to be the closest thing to a "formula" for a chance at the SB. Unless you have a HOFer willing to play at a steep discount, the best way to get a SB window is to have a great team and an up-coming young QB on their rookie contract. This was true of Balt before Flacco got paid, GB before Rodgers got paid, Seattle before Wilson got paid, etc. Teams still have a good/great team once they pay the QB, but it's downhill from there generally because you can't have too many marquee players when paying a QB 30 mil...

Seems like the best windows are teams with QBs on their rookie deals, unless you've got Brady willing to take money funneled through his dummy corporations instead of a salary.

Would he fit what the Bills are trying to do on Defense????

Joking boys just joking.

100% they want to get pressure from the front 4 and play zone behind that.

They can make it happen if they want to... The Raiders can't expect too much for him as others have stated he's going to cost a crap ton to resign... I bet he will hold out right into the regular season. The guy ain't messing around it's his will vs Grudens imo and I think he knows he's good enough to make up his lost $ eventually.

WGR  seems to think it would take Tre White.  If that's the case no thanks.

#1 Pass Rusher is huge for a roster, but so is your #1CB.  In my mind Tre White should be the only untouchable player on the roster right now, beyond Allen.

I can see a 1st and a 2nd or 3rd plus a player like maybe Lawson or Hughes

The Bills really value high draft picks, especially the 2019 selection.  As good as Mack is, I think they would be crazy to give up a 2019 #1.  They won’t admit it publicly but when you are faced with the prospect of starting a rookie QB or an improved QB, you have to brace yourself to take a step backward.  Is Mack worth what could be a Top 5 pick?
