Mr Info Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 The Reactions at the end of the article are worth the link. “they will sell the cars at a loss but make it up on the extension cords. "But comrade, we said it was electric, not battery powered"” 1
Heavy Kevi Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 That is soooo ugly. The wrong kind of retro.
Augie Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Rival the Tesla? Does Roseanne Barr rival an SI swimsuit model? 1
Fadingpain Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Ha ha. The AK of cars. It will perform like **** but be indestructible and very easy to clean. 1
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Looks like they used Lady Penelope's Rolls Royce for minimalist styling cues.
Soda Popinski Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Looks like a 1970s Datsun station wagon. That is not a complement. 1
That's No Moon Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 You think you hate it now, wait until you drive it! 1 1
dpberr Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Not the most hilarious thing they presented to the public recently. They literally made ED-209 from RoboCop. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-45282805 1

Knowing that quirky penchant for doing things differently, I wouldn't be surprised if they're really solar panels to enable the car to recharge. As for putting them on the roof, ?. That, or they're another version of dash cams, which everybody seems to have over there. Edited August 24, 2018 by Ridgewaycynic2013

Saxum Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 How practical is it for a car in Russia to go only 217 miles between charges? I am sure there are places where towns are more than 217 miles apart! With a regular car you can have someone bring you a gallon or 5 of gas, what do you do with electric - stick up lightning rod and hope for a storm?
