The Real Buffalo Joe Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 Where is/was The Palace Center?

Seasons1992 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 This thread is just SICK. I love it. I can't imagine them playing Kleinhans.......the sound would have been perfect and so incredibly loud.

I was reading it like they played the stadium the day before the Stones......................For those into both groups, what a weekend that was!

bills_fan Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Best concert I was ever at was in the early 90s at RIch. Faith No More, Metallica and Guns N Roses. Would LOVE to get a reprint of that poster.

Interesting. I saw The Kinks in the Fall of 1980 at the Aud. And, they were back 11 months later then. I'm surprised I didn't go because that show in 1980 was awesome! 1

The Poojer Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 I was at a Kinks show at the Aud in the early 80's, doubt it was that one as I was a mere Frosh at Fred St. in September 81.... 2 hours ago, row_33 said: fair enough, the comments in the GD thread note The Kinks played the Aud September 24, 1981, a good trio of concerts in a week!

I could blow up the poster easier later on the iPhone than the huge office screen, and it said Watkins Glen

The Real Buffalo Joe Posted August 24, 2018 Author Posted August 24, 2018 I just realized the Chuck Berry/Buddy Holly/Chubby Checker one has to be fake. Buddy Holly died in 1959, and the poster is dated 61. 1

I thought the Chuck Berry one was too good to be true. Literally everybody but like two people on that line up are/were absolute legends.
row_33 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 my coffee table book at the office of Family Dog and other west coast psych posters is a keeper
