I'm starting to wonder if maybe yesterday could be a turning point for Luck.  Reich demonstrated that he is going to try to win and Andrew has to step up in that regard.  Yes, he flopped by missing an easy pass, but sometimes failing is the best way to learn.  If he knows he won't be coddled, maybe he will step up.

He has 14 Fourth Quarter comebacks in 6 years as a starting QB.  He's missed a lot of time recently due to injuries and has had zero defenses to help him out.

Reich did made the right call imo, that was on Luck. 2 minutes left, this is football, you don’t play 60+ minutes to tie.

Plus he was last OC under Pederson, and last I checked Philly didn’t win the Super Bowl by playing conservative... Just because it didn’t work this time, doesn’t mean it was the wrong call.

Kim Jung QB won again on Sunday with his brilliance.  He has done everything predicted of him and more.

I’m guessing Luck slept with your mom or something?

No.  Kim Jung QB has been deemed great since before his 2012 drafting.  Since then, the Colts dumped Manning who won a Super Bowl, and fellow draftees Russell Wilson and Nick Foles have won Super Bowls but Luck is still untouchable for criticism.

This week Frank Reich has become the latest person to blame for Luck's failures.  Your list of clutch 2016 players is laughable as Luck blew two extremely easy late game plays in games that ultimately cost his team their division.  They are easily found on YouTube and have been linked before.  The narrative must be maintained though so CBS calls him clutch.  And people buy it.  Lololololololololololol.

It's not Kim Jung QB's fault that no one will criticize him.  Frankly I think it is unfair to him and is probably holding him back.  It's similar to people drinking the Jim Jones Kool Aid if Jim Jones was only a bystander and not the organizer.  It's not Luck's fault but it is still a cult.  Don't be a cult member.

This isn't weird at all.

I don't think Andrew Luck is "done" so I feel a little bad posting in that thread. I do wonder though what excuse he may have for losing to Kessler and botching another 4th and 1 in crunch time.

This was as predictable as it could get.  Luck...5 straight great games.  Lays a dud yesterday....the OP bumps this topic.

A very strange obsession...

Any rationale to Luck being shutout by the Chiefs until garbage time?

He had a crap game, along with the rest of the team. It happens.  How many times did Peyton Manning choke in the playoffs? Is he a bad QB? Where were you when luck threw 39 TDs this year?

You are really hanging onto that narrative that Luck is not good? Luck is a great QB when healthy- which he was this year- but is unreliable.

It's a waste of time to argue with anyone who thinks that Luck is not a good qb.

Luck is one of the best qbs in the game. He's simply been plagued with injuries and a stupid organization. The front office has been changed, the OL was a point of emphasis last offseason and his arm is going to be stronger next season. The point is that he is one of the best qbs in the game.

I never said he isn't good.  He is good. He simply has not come close to living up to his advanced billing as the greatest prospect in 30 years.  That is a fact but people continue to believe he has done everything expected of him.  It's weird.
