Campy Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I heard about this auction, but couldn't find it. Turns out it expired a few days ago, but webwasteland.com had it up on their site... http://www.webwasteland.com/time-machine.htm EDIT: Here's eBay's page- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5563490518
Albany,n.y. Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 $650, a bargain. It might cost a few thousand to get the thing working but all I'd need is a day at the track for immediate money & then I'd win the lottery that night. How can you go wrong if you get the thing to work?
Guest BackInDaDay Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 In the movie Napolean Dynamite, character 'Uncle Rico' buys one online to go back to 1982 and win the state HS football championship. A real authentic piece of merchandise.
dib Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I had already bought it, but it didnt work so I used it to go back in time before I bought it. What?

NavyBillsFan Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Campy my brother, Id like to take a quote from Vegas Vacation.... "Hey Griswold!, How about we got out back, you give me all your money, I kick you in the nuts and we call it a night?" Hey man, when we going to have that beer fest? I got a house warming party next month in Suffolk. Id love for you to come on out man, msg me when you get a chance!
kasper13 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I'd buy it for $650, go back in time to 1928 and buy all kinds of stock and land in Las Vegas (among other things), then I'd go back in time again and steal the plans for the time machine, come back and patent and manufacture my own time machines and sell them for $250 therby putting the guy I originally bought the time machine from out of business.
crazyDingo Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Winning bid was the same company that bought the virgin mary grilled cheese sandwich.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Looks pretty low-tech for something built in 2239, wouldn't you say? I mean, can you even find an analog meter in 2239 outside a museum? Looks a lot like what Uncle Rico bought. Which is the part you put between your legs? PTR

What do you think happened when the Chicago mob wanted the land cheap????? That buy is in a hole somewhere around the town!
kasper13 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Well, then I would have gone back in time and killed the Chicago Mobsters parents so they wouldn't have been around to kill me.
