Quick Hits: Josh Allen Working with the Starters on Monday

There are only two healthy quarterbacks in Buffalo’s current rotation, but head coach Sean McDermott is still alternating Josh Allen and Nate Peterman with the starters. Today’s practice will have Allen with the ones.

“(Josh) will be working with the ones and Nate will be working with the twos today,” said McDermott. “We’re staying with the rotation. Nate had the reps with the ones yesterday. Josh will have them today. After today we’ll start to move into a blend into a normal week as we prepare for the next game. Part of that is so our players can get acclimated to the routine of a normal regular season week.”

McDermott said he has not yet determined if one of the two quarterbacks will get all the time with the starting unit during the third preseason game, which typically is the final dress rehearsal for the starting unit for the regular season.
