Johnny Hammersticks Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) Loved Kayvon Webster coming out of the draft. He has a pretty significant injury history though, correct? I believe an ACL and an more recent Achilles. Edit: The Rams released him after he failed a physical in April ? Edited August 18, 2018 by Johnny Hammersticks
FluffHead Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) Was there a cb injury? Free agents signed this late tend to make the squad unless it’s just a numbers game due to injury Edited August 18, 2018 by FluffHead

Best guess is they're worried about CB depth too
Bangarang Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) Sounds undersized to play guard or tackle. Edited August 18, 2018 by Bangarang 5

He must be healthy now since he’s starting to make visits
MrEpsYtown Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Ohh I like Kayvon Webster. He's a good player, can play zone or man. If he's healthy he could be a really nice depth piece.
Coach Tuesday Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I think they’re starting to worry about Vontae - he may be out of gas. 2
MAJBobby Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Well will be an open roster spot with Punter tearing his ACL

Webster is a good player who can be had for cheap. No reason not to take a look. Davis is fine. Gaines-Pitts-Borders-Wallace would be the ones on alert if Webster signed. Especially Gaines, b/c he's the vet. Edited August 18, 2018 by purple haze 1
Kirby Jackson Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 This is a wise move. The CB depth is not good. Adding a quality NFL player (even if he has some issues) is a good decision. 1

If White or Davis goes down it seems like trouble.

Despite people thinking I'm a total Pollyanna, I saw what everyone else saw Sunday, and it's hard to be optimistic. The only way to spin it positive was it was just a bad game, like say the Saints game least year, and we'll bounce back. But we looked as bad against the Browns. 2
