Not by a lot mind you, but with the obvious upsides and "it" factor, the only reason I'd put him at #2 is that OLine will get whoever is there killed! Even Shady!

He has more poise than any rookie QB I've seen. And to this point, in pre season granted, he produces. The goal line TD was all I needed. Two amazing drives with amazing TDs in two weeks. Four scoring drives in two weeks.

Allen is a confident guy who believes in himself. A bad game isn’t going to send him into a state of depression. Let him learn on the field.

Fwiw (and i dont disagree w you) but EJ sure did show a lot of poise in that CAR comeback. Fooled maybe people by flashing a glimpse of the IT factor..

So we will find out soon. If I remember correctly, most of us felt EJ looked and sounded the part on paper, and we really really liked the guy too, but he never impresed me.(not that my opinion matters,lol)
