He does look like he has it.  By it I mean that ability that can't be measured that makes QB's great.

Beyond the throws, he just looks like a vet out there...  Changing the plays at the line, feeling pressure, moving in the pocket.  Impressive.

 

I thought he was a project?  lol

I agree. He handled himself professionally. Made plays and was rolling down the field. Unless Nate Peterman is lights out I can not imagine them naming someone else as the starter

I say you give him the first half in game 3. Because you don’t have a lot on him. You cant start him this season because the other two guys are bad. That’s not a good enough reason. He has to learn.

Agreed. Give him the ball with the starters game 3 and if he plays well, then he's thoroughly won the starting role. I'd be shocked if he does not start next week. It was telling that they kept the starting line and Kelvin Benjamin in with him.
