Rookie offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn suffered a torn Achilles injury during last night's preseason game against the Eagles, sources told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Around The NFL will have more on this story soon.

Gugny Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Doesn't matter which team a player is on, this is very sad. 7 1
wppete Posted August 17, 2018 Author Posted August 17, 2018 I FN hate hearing injuries to anyone especially to Rookies in preseason. Even if they are on the Patriots we don't want to hear things like this. 7 1

Ramza86 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Achilles are rough. Hopefully his youth will get him back to 100% again.

HOUSE Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I am feeling sorry for the Patriots. This is horrible news, some players never recover from this injury.
thebandit27 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Poor guy--great player. Not sure it matters much for this year, since I believe he's probably their long-term replacement for Shaq Mason at guard. He's more than a bit on the small side for a tackle--he'd be, by quite a margin, the smallest tackle in the NFL

I can't see the offense having too many long developing routes this season.
Franco_92 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I want the Patriots to get worse, but not this way. 3
