Trump is not afraid to use the Bully Pulpit Former presidents basically have lifetime clearances for everything, for security reasons (i.e. the Secret Service wants them informed about threats). What's more First Ladies maintain the same lifetime clearance, on the basis of living with secure information. (Really. It stems from the First Lady occupying the residential wing of the White House, where classified information is permitted, so they can't eliminate the risk of the First Lady being exposed to classified info.) That that didn't cause a major security breach until recently amazes me.
row_33
with Brennan removed from certain perks this will allow for a more honest and open investigation of his dealings... Edited August 16, 2018 by row_33

The president doing things he’s authorized to do is not an attack on American democracy: it *is* American democracy. How is taking away Brennan’s clearance an effort to silence him? Will he stop speaking in public? Are the cable news shows no longer going to have him on? Will he—gasp—stop tweeting? Trump is only giving Brennan more airtime. For about 48 hours. When he just acts out of spite it is not democracy, it's having an unfit leader who can't control his emotions.
Deranged Rhino
All this spilled digital ink coming to the defense of a man who's done the indefensible, including: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/31/cia-admits-spying-senate-staffers https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/01/does-it-matter-if-john-brennan-was-complicit-in-illegal-torture/266918/ Including this: He also made secret trips to Moscow in March of 2016 (right after the NSA audit began) where he met with the FSB: https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/04/john_brennans_secret_trip_to_moscow.html But keep letting Gary, Tibs and the others tire themselves out defending a man who's murdered an American journalist, spied on Congress and the press to cover up his own ill deeds, and who was one of the leading architects of a palace coup attempt. Tibs and Gary have less principles than even Brennan - as would anyone who rushes to the defense of a man who betrayed this country every day he "served". He's a genious!! Playing hardball works for him. They know he means what he says and isn't going to back down from thugs and liars. If you knew Trump colluded with Russia, would you tell everyone that would listen? You'd think the former head of CIA would have more than that to convince the American public... but, nah. It's always been a coup. Brennan has committed sedition if not outright treason. He's going to be in jail for a very long time, or meet his untimely end soon. No, he has temper tantrums and acts out his frustrations like a little B word. Deranged Rhino
Nonsense is all they have left. Not that Tibs ever had anything more... Anyone notice how they keep circling back to the same talking points? Even ones long since debunked? Claim: Trump Tower meeting = COLLUSION/CONSPIRACY! ... Reality: Nothing illegal happened during the meeting, the meeting itself was entrapment. Claim: Cohen was in Prague meeting with Russians! .... Reality: Cohen was in Southern California touring a campus, a different Michael Cohen was in Prague exposing how this information was gathered (illegally) in the first place. We'll be back to the Seychelles and Prince soon enough. It's almost like, in 2 years of investigating, there's been no new information learned other than what was known (and leaked) in early 2017... funny how that works, isn't it?
