I think my mom's specific comment was something like, "how does a man your age not know how to drive a stick?". Gugny can help you with that. When (year) did Dubel's build/move to behind Como Mall from W.Seneca? They used to be in that building where the Beauty Supply (was Kaiser's) is, next to Picasso's... Across from Dunn Tire (which was Cotrell Ford)... Next to M&T Bank was another supermarket: "Harvest the Best." Nothing ever went in there, building still stands I think. Dubel's was there as early as 1973,I think it was a Loblaw's before that.I wasn't a game player,so I never spent time in the Como and Thruway Mall arcades...but sure,I remember them. The Harvest the Best store doesn't ring a bell for me. Until recently, I hadn't seen Citizen Kane, but my son had to watch it for a film class last year so we watched it together. I realize that movies have to be taken in the context of their times, but I really didn't enjoy it. In general I like cerebral movies, but this one just didn't click for me. Two were on the hole where you get someone to turn the windmill's arms; the trick is have them turn the arms slowly.
