Unfortunately, I was going more than 20 over in Ohio trying to catch a limo with a radar detector and CB radio on the way home for Thanksgiving in my college years. I lost him in some truck traffic. I had a Golden Retriever with me, so instead of taking me to jail he dropped it to 20 over. He didn’t know what to do with the dog. Dogs are your friend! Call the dog warden. My father when I was a teen got pulled over for suspicion of DWI. Had the family Doberman with him. They hauled him off to jail, her to the pound. They were going to shoot the dog... It was going nuts in the car after the stop. My father wasn't that loaded enough, was able to calm the cops and the dog down. Bad situation all around, getting pulled over with the family guard dog riding shotgun! It was early 1980s. Don't even think the DWI stuck. 4 minutes ago, RochesterRob said: Never saw a Star Wars movie? That is just sick (just kidding). More of a Star Trek man myself. Never went to a dance or prom with a girl that I really wanted to go with. I'd be lost without a cat or dog or both. I've been trained plenty as how to deal with a small scale fire but also never used a fire extinguisher. We all have different experiences in life. Just the way it is. I only saw one. The first one. @ the theater. I was 9. I never saw ET or Titanic either.

My dog is truly my best friend. The wife understands. Consider it, but it’s a serious undertaking. Star Wars? How did you avoid that. No great loss. Hated dances, but went to a couple proms. One with my girlfriend, and very little time spent at the prom. Nice night. Another with “that nice girl” who didn’t have a date to her prom, but wanted to go (not my school). My GF was sweet and wanted her to have her prom dream. I hope to never use a fire extinguisher, but think a little experience might be nice in case it’s ever needed. No outdoor grill? THIS is difficult for me. VERY difficult. I cook a lot now, but got there after years of grilling. My first Christmas present to my wife was a gas grill. Romantic, I know, but the thought was every night we grilled she didn’t have to cook. The problem was I left her with my parents to go with a friend to assemble the grill at our new rental, only to find that grill assembly is NOT easy, and beer is NOT helpful. She spent many late hours on Christmas Eve with my parents wondering where I went....and yet we are still married!

They used to be in that building where the Beauty Supply (was Kaiser's) is, next to Picasso's... Across from Dunn Tire (which was Cotrell Ford)... Next to M&T Bank was another supermarket: "Harvest the Best." Nothing ever went in there, building still stands I think.

Have you ever thrown a Chihuahua off the roof of the projects? Have you ever broke a Puerto Rican dude’s leg for sweatpant money?

If I remember correctly it's now just 16% of adults that smoke cigarettes regularly, down from over 50% in the 70's. Weed on the other hand, well it's probably the single largest factor in the tobacco decline besides the high taxes and advertising bans. Well, between the taxes and the fact that many are not around to smoke anymore, that makes perfect sense.
Doc Brown Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 I've never went hunting. My father was never a hunter (although he made sure I knew how to handle a shotgun and a glock for self defense). I enjoy other outdoor activities like golf, fishing, hiking, wind surfing, and tailgating, but hunting just never peaked my interests. I've pry killed more deer with my car then I would ever be able to kill if I went hunting every weekend during deer season.

IslandBillsFan Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Been to a Red Lobster. I don't think this will change either. This one may not be popular, but I have never gotten a massage. Well at least one I paid for.
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 From other thread. Never changed a tire on side of road in 35 years of driving. Gotta have driven 3/4 of a million miles too during lifetime. Now... I am jinxed!

The small ones (10# or less) empty before you know it!!!! Base of fire, sweeping motion. You only got one chance if thats the only fire extinguisher. Make it count!!! When we get new ones @ work, refreshed fire extinguishers... We take old ones, or sketchy ones and practice on a fire (of course a fire). But really... It helps...

It takes awhile, his jabs are harmless and, in the end, you can laugh at your success. Most of us keep score and I think I am high scorer for the month of July.
