JoeF Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Friday's game is going to be a better assessment of the O-line and QBs. McDermott and Rivera are tight and probably had some conversations about what they wanted to work on and accommodated each other to a certain extent. Greggo still carries a large chip on his shoulder about the Bills and he's enough of an "ass" to treat this more like a regular season game with heavy pressure, blitz packages and a little more than the cursory pre-season game planning. I think this will be a really good test for the OL and the QBs and am looking forward to seeing it. I believe Daboll will anticipate this and have some answers.

TigerJ Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 McCarron apparently dinged (ankle), and now Peterman (elbow). I imagine both will be fine tomorrow, but allow me to speculate a bit. If McCarron in particular is injured such that he needs to sit out the game versus Cleveland, who gets first team reps in that game. You've got to assume it is supposed to be McCarron's turn, since Peterman had his shot versus Carolina. Does McDermott swing for the bleachers and start Allen?
26CornerBlitz Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 3 quick takeaways from Day 13 of Bills training camp The Buffalo Bills reached lucky number 13 of their 2018 training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford on Sunday. Here are three quick takeaways from Day 13 of Bills camp: A lot of action happened for quarterbacks on Sunday and much of it appeared to benefit rookie Josh Allen. After AJ McCarron started the team’s last practice on Friday as the first-team QB, Nathan Peterman did so on Day 13. However, Allen, who started with the threes, saw time with the starters for the second-straight practice after not doing so for four practices. There was a new wrinkle as well for Allen. Working with the ones for a few plays isn’t new, but Allen started to do so with the second-team offense for the first time in training camp. Coleman, Zay see more time Camp fight

26CornerBlitz Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 All changes from the previous day are in bold.
WMDman Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 I’m glad Ray Ray is looking good, I was probably his biggest fan when he was drafted 2
eball Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Looks like Allen earned himself some 1st team reps off Thursday night! 1
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 (edited) So glad to see Allen moving up. Keenan Robinson also moving up, we need someone to step up for depth at LB. No reps in the slot for either Zay or Coleman just yet. Edited August 12, 2018 by 2018 Our Year For Sure
HappyDays Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 (edited) I was at camp today. I don't have any crazy observations. Allen overthrew a couple receivers in team drills but overall looked good. Peterman looked better than McCarron to me, more decisive with the ball. He had a nice long seam completion to Zay Jones against the 1st team defense. The only other attempt I saw go to Jones he dropped (the DB might have gotten a hand on it, it was hard to tell). Corey Coleman looked good to me. He had a couple nice catches with the 2nd team offense. When practice was winding down Allen was practicing some long endzone fades against air - one of these passes to Coleman looked like it would be overthrown but then Coleman turned on the burners and brought the ball in with one outstretched hand. It was pretty impressive with the caveat that there was no defender. If you replaced Foster with Coleman against the Panthers he probably would have caught those 2 long TDs IMO. I definitely want to see him with the 1st team once he's up to speed (no pun intended). Edited August 12, 2018 by HappyDays 4 2
