Except,  by definition, he wasn't.

A conscientious objector refuses to perform military service on moral, religious, or ideological grounds.

At the time, DT didn't come forward with any statements indicating he had moral reservations to the U.S. presence in Vietnam.

The record doesn't show any... The record also shows no reports of the "bone spurs" his deferment was based on prior to 1968.

You'd think the avid tennis, squash, and  basketball player would have experienced them before.  Then there's the matter of him forgetting which foot he had the bone spurs on,

as well as the doctor who issued the diagnosis!   Is he a victim? -Or an ill-tempered, pathological lying, buffoon backed by low-IQ enablers?

Discuss. :)

So bone spurs is a medical issue that didn't exist until 1968?

Who cares?  It's now the 21st century (has been for 17 years now!) and this question has absolutely f*ck-all to do with the Trump presidency.

This where the left goes when it suddenly dawns on them that Stormy Daniels was nothing more than another porn star in search of a national tour.

The other dodgers aren't attacking the credibility of others on a daily basis via twitter.

Generally speaking, I'm not certain war has anything at all to do with "morality".

But not participating in a war that doesn't have anything at all to do with morality begets a screaming moral judgement by you?

Which begs the question as to why you are posting in it.

Good for him, I’d probably have had unprotected sex with her too. As for the tweets, the draft thing doesn’t make him wrong about these “ others” credibility. Whomever you might be referring to.

McCain and Kerry served (a lot of good that did them).  Their opponents over the years tried to sully their war records.  There may be some truth to McCain's, but the allegations against Kerry was bs.   Kerry in particular served and then joined the antiwar activist so he served his country and then stood up for what he believed to be an immoral war saying in front of Congress,  "We rationalized destroying villages in order to save them. We saw America lose her sense of morality as she accepted very coolly a My Lai and refused to give up the image of American soldiers who hand out chocolate bars and chewing gum."

If Trump had a record like that I'd have a lot more respect for him, but it wasn't that uncommon to try and get out of going to Vietnam so I'm not going to constantly bring it up.

Cowardice is a perfectly good reason to stay out of a fight.

if Trump simply owned being afraid to go, we could put this to bed... You wouldn't need to cook-up some bullsh_t "conscientious objector" scenario.

What is the matter with you? Are you too stoned to keep track of things? I never said one word about conscientious objections or gave any reason(s) for Trump not going other than for medical reasons. Now you are calling Trump a coward and claiming he should admit being afraid to go. Where are you getting this horseshit?

Can't debate his foreign policy.

Can't debate his economic policy.

He is a blowhard, but most people don't care as long as he produces

His election has made it clear that people now recognize that there has been a DC elite ruling class that needs to be addressed.

I know....................I'll criticize him getting out of the Vietnam War 50 years ago.

You're clearly trying to portray Trump as a conscientious objector.  -Quit the goose-stepping and backpedaling.
