The players are winning. Trump just sounds like an idiot. Well, more of an idiot than usual.

Trump sounds nothing like you.

The stupid idiotic football players who kneel for the anthem are playing into Trump's hands. Trump is on the right side of this issue and the majority of the people who vote are on his side. Of course he wants to keep this going, but he couldn't if the players didn't allow him to. He needs the Obama voters who voted for him in 2016 to vote for the republican candidates in the midterms. Those voters who switched are in many instances union or blue collar workers who don't look kindly on millionaires disrespecting our flag. Trump's whole schtick has been America First, ie nationalism and patriotism. He won on that and now the idiots on the left are politicking against it. What stupid fu*ks they are.

Doesn't matter if it's seen by people at the game, it's seen by people who watch TV and post on Twitter, that's the audience Trump is speaking to.

Trump has won the sponsors and those in the seats, so if he can eke out another 10% voting base from those watching on TV then he wins again

As I said, the protesters are handing this issue to Trump on a platter.

still i can't blame players for wanting to protest if their conscience dictates

but it does get in the way of a serious job they have to perform the next 3 hours, a lot is riding on them giving 100% to that task

What other workers put on their uniform, clock in, then protest ?

NFL players are salaried and do not clock in.

Nope! The clown show continues.

Why would the President drop a winning campaign issue leading into an election cycle?  He's forcing Democratic candidates to come down (optics wise) against veterans, military service, traditional American values, and patriotism; which they will gladly do in their #resistance.

It's a brilliant political strategy from one of the most politically adept individuals I've ever seen.
