Boyst will go with you

Hell I'm sure most of us would if we could.  I haven't been to a game since 08 cause I got married and had a couple of kids.  I have trouble even getting 10 minutes to myself unless it's before 7am or after 9pm.

I had a long drought myself. Enjoy the family, there’s always time for Bills games later.  Family > Bills games.  Yep, I said it. ?

Steelers backups, playoffs on the line. Home from college. Scalp all of my money for ticket. No money for parking. Park on side street assuming I'll be ticketed. Have broken ankle from college broomball incident. Crutch to the stadium and watch That travesty of a football game. No ticket!

What's more depressing? The 4th preseason game vs the lions, or a lions game with a 4 wins Bills team in December.

I admire your desire to go, but that game has no thank you written all over it for me. Hopefully their's a good late starting EPL game on that Sunday.

I have went to patriot game first year rex Ryan was coach we were both 3 and 0 espn broadcasting from parking lot I flew in from Florida Saturday I purchased ticket on Thursday on the fifty row 4 on the patriots sidelines the first 2 rows were closed bill belicheat girlfriend Linda holiday was 3 seats over brady warming up with the deflator I talked so much trash directly to him I was basically first person seated he was warming up just the 2 of them no teammates or coaches must have been 20 feet from me he was not happy with me the first half we were down 28-0 or something every time he scored give me evil eye second half we got back in it down 5 with 5 minutes to go we got back in it because he wanted to score a hundred and I really believe because of my trash talk he turned it over a couple of times when they should have just ran the ball all the patriots fans around me were trippin about it saying just run the damn ball that was the only game in buffalo I've been to it was awesome would have been legendary if we won

I think you have delusions of grandeur. I was also at that game. Trust me, you had nothing to do with it.

Thank the tiny little infant baby Jesus. I mean... of course the thread title isn’t a euphemism for punching the clown somewhere in the stadium on game day. What’s that? ...Uhhhh, why would I come to post in the thread under such pretenses? ...errrr, no reason. ?

More than one but 2003 opening day when the big fellas trotted back out to seal the deal with a goal line stand to shut out NE! Great day, second best part was watching the moron look for me to get my second ticket after he turned down a lower bowl seat at cost. Sold out and opening day, bad time to think he had leverage or that I cared about the $54.

My brother and I had season tickets in '10 and he came down out of the blue with a chronic digestive illness about two weeks into the season.  He rarely feels good enough to even go outside the house so I had to find five people for the remaining five games.  I couldn't find a partner to go to the Patriots game so I went by myself and we got annihilated so I decided to get annihilated afterwards.  Luckily, it's easy to find drinking partners from high school after a Bills game.  One of the perks of a smaller city

I should lead off by saying I am a former season ticket holder.  I've probably been to about 80 Bills games over the years, 32 straight at one time.  I will be going to the Titans game this year with some coworkers and the Bears game with my former season ticket crew.  This is  hardly a situation where this will be my one shot to see the Bills because I am passing through town.

I was considering going to either the Jets or Lions December games this year but no one else wants in.  If the season goes the way we think it might I can probably score a ticket to either game for $10-15 (paid $12 for the snow bowl last year).  Despite no one else wanting to go to either game I think I still might.

I imagine it will be a far different experience than I'm used to.  Usually the grills are fired up and beers cracked in Hammer lot around 8:15 AM every Sunday I'm at a Bills game.  But solo?  I wont be tailgating with my people.  I could see myself parking at one of the cheap house lots down the road and walking around all the lots to take in the experience of other tailgates.  Maybe get some good pictures of Buffalo doing what Buffalo does best.  As far as the game goes I have no problem sitting next to strangers and cheering on the Bills because really we're all family in the stadium.  Just a thought but I think it might be a different/good experience.  Anyone else ever done a game solo?  Any pointers for someone who hasn't?

Towards the end of my season ticket run with all my friends some of the guys to switch to club seats.  We had pretty good seats, section 108 row 22, towards the end of my run with all my friends & before I got season tickets with my son I was paired with my one friend.  We just had two tickets.  He would disappear after the first quarter & wouldn't return.  I would always find him back at the car at the end of the game.  I would always ask him where he went & he would have some stupid excuse.  So it turns out that he was meeting one of my other friends sister who had seats in the club(both of them your married at the time) in the parking lot after the first quarter & they would get it on in the parking lot during the game.  My friend who's sister it was found out about it(he was suspicious & followed them out of the game one time & caught them in the act & blew up at them & I haven't talked to the guy since.  I thought it was kind of funny but my allegiance obviously was to my other friend who had the sister(he is one of my best friends) so I kind of swore off that relationship.  I told my wife about it & I thought she would of thought it was funny but she was actually kind of disgusted by it.  She actually wanted to write a letter to my friend's wife explaining the whole thing but I told her not too.

Anyway, in short I don't think per say sitting by yourself at the game is a big deal but I think where that hurts is tha tailgaiting experience.   I have always had 6-10 guys tailgating with me even though we don't all sit together.

I’ve rolled solo to a game, late season Jets cabbage game and no one else in my crew wanted to go. I have a silly home game streak that I like to keep intact. Home opener will be 101

in a row!

Anyhap, drove up solo, met some fellas in the lot for a burger and a beer, went into the game and kinda roamed around the stadium checking out different views. I was way up in the corner and CJ Spiller broke a 70 yarder to score, it was a cool perspective on the play way up there.

Yeah, I like the idea of checking out the different view points around the stadium during the game.  I figure i can do just this one Bills game without at tailgate as all 80+ others were with a tailgate.  Congrats on the 101 and counting.  When my streak of 42 came to an end it was kind of sad, keep it rolling.  Go Bills!

C.  8 months with no Bills football.  Which we'd be on the cusp of at that point...Even if we have 4 wins I'd still watch the Bills on TV anyway.  Figure this might be a good chance to experience something new at a bargain price.  I've never not tailgated so it should be interesting to roam about.

Yea I'm sure I'll get back at some point.  Although watching the game at home at least gives me the chance to force my kids to be bills fans much to my wife's disapproval.

It’s an investment. I’ll hear from my kids almost daily about the Bills, while my wife can’t even get a response to a text on a regular basis. The wives should get on board!

One of things I told him was talked to Giselle last night and told me cold front vs brady = shrinkage listen we were so close I didn't even have to yell after him in the ball boy got done playing catch they put a rope around Brady's waist and was stretching his hami's I told her better enjoy it that's the best he'll be walking today much more colorful though after we cut the score down to 5 they got the ball it was 3rd and 10 Mario was unblocked brady threw a pass to amendola for 30 yards was amazing catch Mario thumped brady they kicked fg went up 8 with about a minute left when brady came of the field on that drive he stated at me the whole time I absolutely have no reason to make this up also was saying during his warm up is that the deflator is that Mr softee

I hear it every Sunday.  "Why don't you like a team that's good???".

In fairness she hasn't ever really liked football so I guess it's better than her being a fan of a different team.

When I was first married the Bills went back to back 2-14. My wife asked “why do you do this to yourself?!?!?”

It was a fair question, but the people here understand.

I wish my wife just cared at least a little about sports, but if she were say....a Pats* fan? Not sure how that would go...
