I think weed being illegal in the NFL is stupid. But in a world where you know weed could damage your career (Which suddenly is looking up due to the Coleman trade) why on Earth would you take that chance? Idiot, and if Calloway is missing time boy do the Browns need Josh Gordon to come in quick.

All of these guys in the NFL have been given a winning lottery ticket.

I am forever amazed at the number of them who are willing to throw that ticket in the garbage.

Yeah, even the stuff they show on Hard Knocks is amazing.  I was just watching an episode from the 2014 Atlanta Falcons camp when Brian Cox was the DE coach.  He was having a couple of young players running to get into shape.  He was yelling at them to move and they were just standing there ignoring him and when they did run they were dogging it.

The saddest part is that marijuana testing day in the NFL is on the same day EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

For regular players with no history of pot offenses, you get tested once a year, and its always the same day. That's it.

Players can literally smoke all they want for 9-10 months a year, so long as they stop 2-3 months in advance of the test each time. Even THAT is too hard for some. Sad.

Right but didn’t this guy have a history coming into the league? He may have been put in the program right away and subjected to more tests.

Yes he was placed in the program immediately because he failed the drug test at the combine

NOW the red flag is up? Read some scouting reports before the draft, Hue. Why have one Josh Gordon when you can have two

Looks like he's trying out to be one of those male cheerleaders.

Latest is that the police also found bullets and gun parts in the vehicle.

Great guy Cleveland, lol

They now will have the best set of suspended receivers in the league

Maybe Baker can take them in with the new RV

...whoa...NOT done...it gets even better.........

CLEVELAND -- As Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway stood by, a police officer said he "got real nervous" when he found bullets and a gun part while searching the rookie's vehicle.

Callaway was cited for marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license after being stopped by Strongsville, Ohio, police early Sunday morning for failing to yield to oncoming traffic.

On Wednesday, the dashcam video shows Callaway getting out of his car and then being questioned by police after the ammunition and a "strap" for a handgun were found in the car.
