jimmy10 Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) Looks like the Red Rifle is making plans for his visit to Buffalo at the end of August. Good on ya, Andy. Also, the crowd is going to lose its mind when the Bengals take the field. I know it’s only preseason, but warmest reception ever for a visiting team? Edited August 6, 2018 by jimmy10 15 2
BuffaloRush Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Did we really have to start a new thread for this topic? Shouldn’t this be placed under the Andy Dalton thread on December 31, 2017!?!?!!!! 3
McBean Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I will forever love Andy Dalton and the Bengals. What a moment that was... 15 1

I’m not part of the problem, Slick. 10 1 6

OCinBuffalo Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Sweep the AFC North, thus giving us a leg up on conference record, which in turn gives us a leg up on the Wild Card, at least? Or, simply beat Baltimore twice?
Mark Vader Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Pull out those Sammy Watkins jerseys and put Dalton's name on them. 2 3 1
LeGOATski Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Honestly, it didn't change my feelings towards the Bengals, so I wouldn't greet them any differently. 1

CSBill Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 It will be a class act by a class person, for a well-deserved recognition of the passionate, grateful, and generous fans of the Buffalo Bills. And both parties will show that gratitude when the Bengals visit in a few weeks. A win for both. 3

PromoTheRobot Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Standing O for Dalton and Boyd at that game. Probably why it's going to be televised nationally. 1

dollars 2 donuts Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) This was such a nice story to add to the end of the playoff drought. Edited August 6, 2018 by dollars 2 donuts 2
boyst Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 My.memory serves me it was quite a bit more than just $400k. I figured I'd donate more for the anniversary of it, and maybe after he makes his appearance in buffalo, too.
Bob in STL Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Dalton is a class guy but one wonders about the importance of timing. Had the Bengals game been played on Saturday with the same result would the reaction be the same and as intense? Beating the Fish and then waiting and watching the conclusion on the Bengals game adds to the dramatic impact. I like that Dalton is awesome for sharing some of it with Buffalo and he will get red carpet treatment for sure. Bills fans are very generous and loyal and there are lots of local charities sponsored by Bills players. I’ve seen a lot of cities and Buffalo is a special place.
Homey D. Clown Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 First class response from a guy who received a lot of love from us Bills fans. Opposing team or not, I'm a fan of his now simply because of how the sport of football is doing something great for those in need, and he has taken the time to pay it forward. 1
dpberr Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I hope they make this story into one of those mini-movies before a prime time Bills or Bengals game. It's a story that certainly should be told. 2
