YoloinOhio Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Hard not to pick the Saints here the way they looked last year. I think it’s going to be a rough year for Tampa (Fitzy lives!) and Atlanta needs to get off the mat and challenge NO.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 torn between the Saints and Falcons, but I have to stick with the Aints
CommonCents Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Falcons. I have them about even with the Saints but if I’m betting I take the Falcons. Brees will be 40 in January and I’m not totally sold on QBs suddenly playing into their mid 40’s. The wall is close, I expect a drop in NO this season.
aristocrat Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Jameis gonna be looking for a new team. They’re gonna be in top pick contention
Tatonka68 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Tampa, just because the winner of the division is always a surprise.
BigPappy Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 The Saints will be very good this year but i think after the good year that the Falcons had, I think they turn the corner and edge out the Saints by one game.
DCOrange Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I wish Tampa would return to being a good team again, but I went with the Falcons. I think Carolina ends up in last place though.
frostbitmic Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 (edited) Saints ... Offense is still potent and it's not Rob Ryans defense anymore. Edited August 2, 2018 by frostbitmic
whatdrought Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I think the saints will come down to the earth this year. Falcons have the talent to be the best team in the NFL, they just need to put it together.
GunnerBill Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Really tough one to call this. I was on the Saints right through pre-season last year was adamant they were going to win that division and had a chance to make a run. I am actually still predicting them to win 10+ games but I think Atlanta are a Superbowl contender this year if Sark can figure the offense out and Julio shows up. I do think their window is closing a little though. They have some contracts coming up for key pieces in the next 2 years. The time is now for the Falcons.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Saints by a whisker over the Falcons. I asked the Magic 8-ball. The way TB's fortunes rise and fall from year to year makes me think they're a perfect fit for the CFL.
GoBills808 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Panthers will be sneaky good this year. My dark horse.

They're overlooked this year, folks seem to dismiss that they went 11-5 and lost a pretty close wildcard game to the division winning Saints...if they get a healthy Kuechly and a motivated Newton (he seems to run hot/cold season to season, so my guess is this year is a hot one) I have them putting it together for one final run. They had a pretty decent offseason, I like the Dontari Poe signing w/ Short up front and Norv Turner is an upgrade over Shula for sure. Losing Davis for 4 games to start obviously stings but 3 of those are home games and only 1 against a divisional opponent in the Falcons. You can get Carolina at +290 to win the division right now...I kinda like those odds.
