YoloinOhio
Brett has denied that herman was his tipster. Herman has denied being the tipster but admits to giving Courtney money. Please end.

Wow, great way to repay the person who “springboarded” your career; & that’s if money is the only thing Herman supplied.
JohnC
The Ohio State saga might be pushed off the front page when the full story comes out about the recklessness of the Maryland program. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/maryland-football-athletic-staffers-placed-on-leave-amid-report-of-harmful-culture/

JohnC
Just now, YoloinOhio said: The story broke yesterday and it’s huge but... it’s maryland so it won’t get the coverage it deserves The death of the player from the circumstances he was subjected in my mind met the level of negligent manslaughter. The head coach should have been the first person suspended until the investigation was complete. You don't have to have a medical background to recognize the danger in pushing players to the maximum limit , especially large athletes, in such extreme heat. How does one make the phone call to tell the parents that their son is near death and now dead?

The neanderthal HC hired the type of trainer he wanted to hire. He knew exactly what he was getting. It was his program and he established it the way he wanted. This rises to criminal negligence. The death of a young player wasn't an incident. It was the outcome of a system of reckless endangerment. This is beyond being stupid----this is an example of gross negligent manslaughter. YoloinOhio
Jeff Snook’s post is excellent. I would encourage everyone to not succumb to the mob mentality surrounding the Ohio State/Urban Meyer situation (or any other mob mentality in current culture).
Willyville Guy
I’m told there may be an official announcement this afternoon. Fingers crossed.
Willyville Guy
Apparently the big announcement was on the football side. I wish the last line said Welcome Back Urban!
YoloinOhio
Really good to hear the updates since the media hasn’t been allowed in. Because of President Drake’s comments last night it seems like it will be Monday at the earliest. The drama cannot end soon enough!!

YoloinOhio
I expected Monday or Tuesday. They've interviewed a ton of people. Even the ex husband of the girl who worked in the football dept who had an affair with Zach that set off Courtney into a tailspin. Such a soap opera - can’t wait until it’s over. YoloinOhio
Regarding McMurphy’s latest attempt to grasp at relevance: what can one jump that’s higher than a shark?
