Granted it doesn't get much use outside of football and hockey season 7 year old 55" Vizio in my living room still works like a champ 1 year old 32" TCL in my bedroom have had no problems in the limited time I've had it, other than the remote goes thru batteries much faster than my other TVs I have one of these and it is by far the best picture out there imo. Not sure why it is using up your batteries fast... going on a year and have the same ones when I bought it.
mead107 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hold of till next year when you will be able to buy a Mead TV. Should hit the market in May.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 52 inch 1080p Samsung lcd is the best tv I’ve ever owned and it’s still going strong.
BillsFan4 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I have been a Sony guy for many years now. Ever since they released their flat screen CRT (tube) TVs. They just make excellent televisions. Their motion + picture processing and HD upscaling has led the industry for years. Having said that, the new Samsung Q9 has me very interested. I happened to see it at the store recently and I was beyond impressed with it. They had it next to the Sony Z9D (considered by many to be the best LED tv on the market) and it looked just as good, and in some ways even better. I couldn’t believe how good the picture looked. It was almost as good as the OLED’s. Honestly, it really has me considering buying a Samsung for the first time. Sony is coming out with a brand new processor soon, though, and it’s supposed to be more than 2x more powerful than their current one. I seen a demo TV with the new processor and it was unbelievable. So I will wait for their release and compare the 2.
