Cornette's Commentary Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Mods, can we please close this thread? Beane is not trading for Julio Jones, as suggested by the OP, and it's extremely unlikely that Atlanta will let him go. Thanks.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 ...Jesus, shades of Latrell Spreewell......"I have a family to feed" as he said $14 mil/yr was an insult.......SMH..........

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 What concerns me the most about this is he's my keeper on my Fantasy team. Don't need out of shape players the first couple of weeks then gets hurt.
Lfod Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 (edited) I'm Julio Jones don't call me for camp because I'm going to be home. Team spirit guys. Edited July 26, 2018 by Lfod

You may enjoy an NBA-style league. I personally find that garbage. Or, maybe, last time around both sides acknowledged this as a possible revisit point. really, for someone so far outside the situation, you sho is angry

It’s also possible that I could get a date with Brooke shields next weekend. Anything is possible, amirite?
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Julio Jones, Falcons Agree to Revised Contract; WR Will Report to Camp Joseph Zucker-BR- July 26, 2018 The Atlanta Falcons and wide receiver Julio Jones came to an agreement on his contract, the team announced Wednesday night. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the two sides agreed to a revised contract that will adjust his 2018 salary. That will allow the sides to negotiate a long-term extension at a later date without the drama of a holdout this summer. Jones will report to camp Thursday.
ALF Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 If a player deserves more money as a bonus to his contract that's good. What about a player who has a big salary but doesn't earn it , not injury related ?
MAJBobby Posted July 26, 2018 Author Posted July 26, 2018 And just like that perfect use of your leverage Julio.

Bell > Brown. He's a more important part to that offense than anyone other than Rapelisberger, yet they let him sit out.
