Wow.  That has a really awful "Dancing Queen" vibe to it.

It's almost fighting words to suggest Kim in his MW phase would be doing that....  :D

the real Roxanne song, cottage country nostalgia top 40 CanCon heaven...

Maybe this will help you get rid of that:

I'm Henry the eighth I am,
Henry the eighth I am I am,
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married seven times before,
And everyone was a Henry (Henry),
She wouldn't have a Willie or a Sam (no sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry,
Henry the eighth I am

Second verse, same as the first
I'm Henry the eighth I am,
Henry the eighth I am I am,
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married seven times before,
And everyone was a Henry (Henry),
She wouldn't have a Willie or a Sam (no sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry,
Henry the eighth I am

Look, I already tried an emergency Rebecca Black "Friday" treatment.

That I tried that, and that it didn't work, should tell you how serious a situation this is.  I might have to go nuclear on this ear worm...yes, that means...

CanCon gems....

Burton at his badass best, dual guitars, Bible verses on some versions... he had this Jim Morrison fixation which was great as album filler...

DJT was voted into office because he made certain pledges. He's on track to making those pledges come true. Canada wants to be like Europe and is fast becoming so. America does not want to be like Europe. The election of DJT thankfully changed the God awful course we were on under Obama and we are now headed back towards American Exceptionalism.

Wrong! Demographics is destiny. Trump's racism won't last the dying off of the older generation and the new more diverse population growing to voting age. Great things are on the way!

The metropolitain area....as I mentioned in the post...

Ah, you're right.  I actually didn't read the 2nd sentence.

But, I don't consider Buffalo as being a city of over a million people even though it's metro area is.

Sometimes, I just want to laugh

When you think you're a wit, although you only have half.

saw him at a restaurant a few years ago, he was in rough shape...

in Toronto i see a lot of people worth talking to, i always go up and say "thanks for your great work, has meant a lot to me."

sometimes they invite me to chat for a few minutes, usually they nod and I leave respectfully

i'm too big to take offense at....

Plus, it's a Canadian metro area.  That's only like 85% of an American metro area.

Geddy Lee one of them?  Or does not go outside, and spend all his time in his mansion, gazing wistfully at his baseball collection?

Geddy and his Objectivist drummer sadly haven't been located.

Charlie Watts was my best find back in the 80s.

Geddy's in Toronto; he and Lifeson were at a Foo Fighters concert last week.

Peart is MIA...which means he's probably either in Los Angeles or, given the season, riding around the country on his bike.

Peart might make me sit there and read The Fountainhead with him

not many places give us a PPP kind of forum, very grateful

10 great forums had the plug pulled on me over the last 3 years

It's getting frustrated to not be able to post in so many places that I used to be able to.  IMDB is another one for me.

I never knew Geddy Lee was a baseball fanatic until I read up on it after seeing this post.  I like him a lot more now than I did yesterday.
