The Frito Bandito.    Voiced by the same guy who did Speedy Gonzales Much racism

That was the great Mel Blanc, voice of all the Looney Toons characters.

Classic annoyance from Grand Island...

I remember this commercial well from my childhood.

What I did not remember is how it looks like a pair of teenagers slapped it together in their parent's basement in an hour for a school project.  Holy crap that's bad!

any list that doesn't include this is a fail.

For me, the "shout song" at Bills games is pretty much the same sort of thing as this commercial.

Time to move into the 21st century with something a little bit more slick IMO.

If anyone lived in the central Florida area in the late 80s, early 90s, you had to remember the Family Auto Mart commercials.  Classics,  for sure.  Watching them now,  as an adult,  I'm sure that fat man had to be hitting them white lines.

Those and does anyone remember the hanker for a hunk of cheese commercials back in the 80s?

70s schoolhouse rocks thing, never got who that Timer dude was supposed to be.

Two more that aired in the NYC market:

Crazy Eddie:

I couldn't find a "What's the story Jerry?" appliance store commercial but apparently when that work dried up he opened his own disco:

Can't find it, but the old late night Mikes Big Mouth commercial.

The one with the upside down chin faces just repeating:

"Chow down ... at Mike's!"

"Chow down ... at Mike's"!

Does anyone remember this commercial?

So bad that I remember it thirty years later.

Anyone remember the Record Archive commercials?  I did a search and they're still in business!  I just might have to go there when I'm up in Rochester next weekend.
