If you don’t understand why it would be bad just take a visit to the Chris Ivory would be the first option thread.

The Bills were/are counting on McCoy this season otherwise one of those picks would have been a RB. They need one more year out of him and without him the RB position is just like the WR position. Mashed potatoes.

If Shady is gone then this season is destined to be really bad. We have a horrendous schedule on paper and we would be losing the key cog in our offense. We have AJ, NP, and a rookie for QB's. We have an OL that had a suspect right side to begin with and is replacing two starters that weren't in those positions. The defense will be the defense, but if you can't move the ball and put up points then you lose. Without Shady this offense struggles to move the ball, this solid defense will tire out in the 2nd half of games, and we will lose a lot. The offense is built around him and the drop off behind him is significant. It is clearly a bad thing if he can't play.

You just brought a smile to faces of everyone who wants to tank for Nick Bosa and Ed Oliver.

You want to send a rookie QB out there with no running game and no wide receivers to throw to?

And no oline

Wow there are a lot of folks on this board who are completely naive or are such fan boys they can’t see the forest for the trees. The facts are pretty straightforward - UNSUB uses keys to enter the home. Beats the ex girlfriend while demanding the EXACT jewelry Shady has been asking to be returned for months. Beats the ex girlfriend who Shady has been trying to evict for months. Shady just happened to change the security cameras shortly before the incident. History of police visits to home because of domestic disputes. There is only one conclusion, Shady was not directly involved, but the UNSUB was acting at his direction. The UNSUB was given the keys to access the home by “somebody”. Who but Shady.

But relax fan boys. Police or NFL are a long way from proving any of this. If the UNSUB is never identified, Shady skates. A real possibility. Doesn’t change what common sense clearly dictates. You would have to be a complete fool to believe, given this fact pattern, that Shay had no involvement.

End of the day everyone would love Shaddy to be cleared of these charges but if he is not then it may just accelerate the move from ground and pound offense to modern day passing.  The good teams pass the football,  playing conservative ground and pound gets you tossed come playoff time.

Having Shaddy here means running on 1st and 2nd down and being predictable on offense and teams just put 8-9 guys in the box. We drafted Allen for his arm,  go out there and make modern day throws.

So, by that thought are you saying if he is cleared and all is well we should move on from him anyway? ?

Shaddy should have caught that foul ball. He will be Bartman 2.0 until Arkansas wins the CWS.
He will not be back next year.

They are anything but straightforward.  You have a 100% unsubstantiated opinion based on zero evidence.

Shady is not a ground and pound RB. He's a finesse back with great vision, elusiveness and pass catching ability.

You know who is a ground and pound back? Chris Ivory... So basically the offense you are trying to steer clear of is what this offense will resort to if "Shaddy" is gone.

Personally I'd rather see Allen sit his rookie season and learn his craft at the pro level for lack of a better word,.. seasoning.

Even though we are one of the most run heavy team in the league and Shady was our only weapon last year....

467 pass/487 run....basically 50/50.  We weren't running on 1st and 2nd down all the time.

You also sound like having Shady decreases production on offense.

Lets not wait for the facts to come out or anything....

The only thing the Bills can always do, is find a good RB. We will be ok.

Will you be attending T.O.'s HOF speech at UT-Chattanooga?  Competition brings out the best in everybody.  Period.

Dude.  Very little of what you posted are facts

If the Bills are without LeSean McCoy, the season is pretty much shot.

Losing three of our best offensive linemen, our Pro Bowl running back, installing a new offensive coordinator's system, AND completely starting over at quarterback (possibly starting a rookie).  That is way too much to overcome, regardless of how good our defense can be.

The only silver lining is that McCoy is 30 years old, and our team can't be counting on him long-term anyway.  Even if nothing happens with these accusations, his contract runs through 2019 and then he's a 32-year-old free agent.

I think most of us were expecting the Bills to take a step back this season, even anticipating McCoy on the roster.  Hopefully we can get Josh Allen some experience, add some strong pieces next offseason and then be ready to compete in 2019.

It was a "fun" connect the dots theory for a guy with an active imagination.  He should write for a crime series.
