People are calling this “BS” and that she is “lying”. I don’t think so. A woman wouldn’t do this to her own face.

Women do, surprisingly enough.  Not often, not by a long shot, and I don't think this is such a case.  But it does happen.

Tenet...Tenant.

For all intensive purposes we know what the man meant!

I could care less if his spelling is off.

Here Here I say!

Dilly dilly, I say!

seriously, Gents, if any of this is close to being true he is toast.

If...

in fairness, there was an earlier cited source that stated she had them removed.

"According to his attorney, Jacoby Hudson, McCoy claimed that Cordon had surveillance cameras removed from the home."

Conflicting stories on the camera issue.

It’s possible she removed (or tried to remove) the replacement cameras that mccoy installed in June? Her attorney seems to imply they were still in the house last night, but her attorney also can’t spell mccoy’s name correctly so who knows what’s true in that letter.

How did this attorney spell LeSean wrong??

She's at least consistent about it - she's spelled it "Leshawn" on every document I've found.

Why does her attorney need to put out a press release?  This is a move (I say as a litigator), that usually accompanies a hold-up for money, not serious litigation.  The police can handle it.  And if she has a real civil claim she should file it.  Press releases are made to exert pressure.  I could be dead wrong, and staunchly oppose violence against any person, especially women or children, but my bull **** meter is sounding off.

Hi. I read so much legal disinformation in this thread that it motivated me to join your community. ? I am an attorney licensed to practice law in Georgia and I do landlord-tenant work. Here's how our law works. If she was living in the home as his girlfriend she became a tenant-at-will. In order to kick her out of the house, he has to give her sixty days notice. Once the 60 day period expires, if she hasn't left the house he can file an eviction proceeding. Eviction hearings are easy to schedule in Fulton County; you can typically get one within a week. Personally, I would never use the Marshall's Office to get her served; I would use one of my private investigators to do it.

The hearing would take about 5 minutes. I would have to show my client owned the house, that he gave the 60 days notice, that there was no lease and that she refused to leave. I would get an eviction notice on the spot and arrange with the sheriff's office to have her stuff put out on the street.

It's easy and straight forward. I hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Then why has the eviction process taken a year and counting?

I think you are VERY much underestimating what a golddigger will do when she about to lose the lifestyle she is accustomed to.

I don’t think a woman who looked like that, and who routinely put that face out on the internet, would purposely put a cut right down the middle of her face.  She’s going to be downright disfigured.  Even when women commit suicide, it’s done in a non-disfiguring manner.

Yes...it's called EVICTION, and has ****-all to do with marital status.  Cohabitation is not marriage.  Let me repeat that: COHABITATION IS NOT MARRIAGE.

What cohabitation does establish in this case, under Georgia state law, is TENANCY.  It does not establish a "family home" or a "shared home."  Legally, he is a lessor and she a lessee, and he must evict her as such.

Why is this so hard for people to understand, Tom?!!!

Because it can be, in certain states if certain other conditions are met.

But none of those conditions are met in this case.  And arguments to ambiguous fictions of "family home" and "shared home" don't change that.

Because he didn't hire a real attorney and have it done right. It's a very simple procedure if you follow the law. I've done hundreds of them

Because it appears that the two have reconciled repeatedly and he probably put it off. I mean he was still giving her expensive gifts just this past may.

Or what Brandon said.

Why would he remove and install cameras he controlled if he is sending in thugs?  That is her story.  If you are LeSean, is it not safer to just go with no cameras?   As I understand it, his version is she pulled the cameras out.  She would not want cameras watching her she could not control, true?   I am having trouble with her story.

Because McCoy didn’t do it properly.....or so it seems.

And that her lawyer put out a press release.  As I stated above, that is a red flag for me.  In my experience, not what real victims do.  The rely on the police, and if they have enough to state a claim they file a civil action.  As a general rule:  Press release = hold-up for money.

Read the attorney press release.

Sounds like Meathead McCoy hired thugs to break into his house and take property from the woman that he felt was rightly his own.

If this story is not made up, there are some crimes being committed here, and they should extend to Meathead McCoy.

Will be interested to see how the Bills handle this with regard to McCoy.  He may be done as as Bill, regardless of any criminal proceedings that may or may not be brought against him long term.

Thanks.  I know the broad strokes, but thanks for filling in the local details.

I know in the DC region, evictions can take a stupid-long time, depending on the situation (I've known some foreclosure evictions in this area to drag out a couple years, on the legal argument of "banks are evil.")  Didn't know if GA leaned tenant or landlord.

Let me guess: you're wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat right now, aren't you?
