well what If her lawyer advised delicia to  admit she has doubts wether or not he was involved to make her own client appear reasonable and with no real ax to grind against shady.....does this diffuse a lawsuit for libel against she OR her friend? I wonder how this will all play out but I think there will be redemption for Shady in the end.

Is she backing down now?

But Mia wants everyone to know she's NOT backing down -- and only pulled her post on the advice of Delicia's attorney.

She has now published a NEW post calling LeSean "Shady" McCoy a liar.

"For the record Delicia's lawyer forced me to remove that post. I stand by what I said," Mia wrote.

"I've personally addressed @leseanmccoy on everything that was stated many many times over the years. Lie to these people if you want Shady, but you know I know everything.

That's not new.

Good point and I'm not sure since she specifically named McCoy in the 911 calls.

I know...she wasn't backing down 3 days ago so I wonder if she's going to now.

She was out of town in Virginia at the time.   But even if she had been home, man up and handle your own problems.  Don't send your moms to do it for you.

Shady was obviously concerned that this bimbo would try and jam him up if he tried to get borrowed jewelry or his own house back. ???tried to get other people to take care of it so he couldn’t get in trouble. I’m not talking about the supposed robbery.

Did not Ms Cordon say " it has something to do with my ex-boyfriend" on the 911 call?  Although, I'd wonder who that is since McCoy seems to have been living in another reality for months maybe even a year +.  So this is technically not the complete truth by Graham but in a way it is because Cordon never said it was him exactly.  But she did say explicitly on that call that it has "something to do with my ex-boyfriend."  "I feel like my boyfriend set me up."

She specifically said "ex-boyfriend" so is this semantics since she didn't say "Lesean McCoy" specifically?

http://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/civil-litigation/defamation-character-lawsuit-proving-harm.html

"The most obvious negative consequence that a defamatory statement can cause is harm to your professional reputation. Perhaps you are a local businessperson and someone made a statement about you to others indicating that you did something dishonest. Such allegations might cause your customers to take their business elsewhere. Perhaps the statement caused your employer to doubt whether you should remain employed. Those are clear-cut examples of harm to your reputation in your professional community."

If McCoy were to be suspended by the NFL or released by the Bills due to her friend's published statements and/or her own statements to police about McCoy setting up her pistol whipping/robbery,  McCoy can sue them both for restoration of his character from defamatory statements.  I believe the statements that were made are presumed to be defamatory (eg domestic violence, child and animal abuse) so he does not have to "prove" that they are, and that in those circumstances, it is not "up to" the defamed party to prove he is innocent of the defamation: the plaintiff (friend/Cordon) would have to provide evidence that the statements were true as a defense.

That is why the woman, acting through her attorney, is busy dissociating herself from her friend's Instagram posts and backing away from her assertion to 911/police that McCoy set her up to be robbed.

He would have to prove she knowing made false claims against him or his reputation.

I was referring to the incident where he sent his mom with a moving truck to (illegally) get all the furniture out of the house while the "bimbo" was out of town.

I dont think it should be completely ignored that she could have set this up herself as a way to get back at Shady...women will do some pretty crazy things when they are upset amd while this would be an extreme example, it isnt out of the realm of possibilities she saw an opportunity at a big payday and took it.

I think this deserved its own post.  Mods disagreed.

Breaking news from CBS Cordon in full retreat.  Could still involve Shady, but looking good for him.  Note, she says "no longer sure" - meaning she was and changed her mind.  Why?  What changed?  I never thought Shady did it, could still be wrong, but I am betting on McCoy.

Cordon's attorney Tanya Mitchell Graham told CBS News the jewelry were birthday presents from McCoy. Graham also said her client is no longer certain the NFL star was involved in the attack.

The new information from Cordon's lawyer comes one after Graham told Mike Petchenik that her client has never accused McCoy of domestic violence.

The news comes one day after Milton, Georgia police released incident reports from three separate calls to McCoy's residence dating from July 2017. Despite being called to the residence three times, Cordon and McCoy never accused one another of domestic violence.
