Shady's character was evident when he decided to stretch for the national anthem... But we also have to remember that we're also talking about a grown woman refusing to leave her EX's house. We're assuming that both would act like rational people, when in reality they've proven themselves to be idiots.

bottom line:

Unless they can find the perpetrator, and link him directly to McCoy, there is not going to be enough evidence to do anything. So this entire thing will be settled by the jury of Social Media. McCoy is screwed.

And this other 34 year old female also lived with the victim, according the filing.

Right.

It is a VERY sloppy cover sheet completed by the police department which, ultimately, means nothing other than sloppy paperwork by the reporting officer and sloppy supervision by the boss that reviewed the report.

The juicy details will be in the Detective report, which won’t be released to the public any time soon....if ever.

Who sought the continuance?

Her lawyer delayed it due to a family illness. That must be like catching a Hail Mary being only a short time away from eviction. A full month delay!

You seem to believe Shady will never play in the NFL again based on your belief that only he and the girl knew which jewelry he wanted, and that the only way the guy who beat her knew those details was because Shady hired him.

Do I have that right?

No. Read through the 100 pages, and feel free to get back to me. Oh and I never said he did it, so don't accuse me of that crap either.

It still means that time was running out.  She really had no options left.

Why were all these women living with the ex gf in his house? Were they just early for his annual pre-TC girls night?

I've tried to stay out of this discussion because I am not of the mind to speculate like you are doing above as it relates to the specificity of her jewelry.

You've taken basic, inconclusive information and have come to a finite conclusion that Shady will never play football again and will probably even go to jail.

So let me ask you this: what are the odds that the woman in question showed her friends the court document listing the items Shady asked for? Is there a better than average chance that this woman shared this information with one of her girlfriends? Two of them? Ten of them? Any chance two of them shared that info with two of their friends?

You know the answer.

So now assume she and Shady aren't the only one's who know about that specific jewelry. If you're willing to accept that Shady has friends who would pistol whip her, do you think there's a chance that her girlfriends have boyfriends who might pistol whip her?

See where I'm going?

I understand and appreciate the perceived heroics of your Banacek moment, but try harder not to come to such a rash decision. Why, the next thing you know you'll be stupid enough to suggest that anyone at TBD who defends Shady should be banned from TBD for life.

You don't want to be that stupid.

Who turned off the security system?

She was perfectly willing to put up with and tie the knot with a steroid shooting, woman beating animal who also abused children and animals until yesterday.  ;)

Yup, it sure does seem a little fishy IMO.

Is the “Jury of Social Media” actually leaning that way though?   Everyone I’ve spoken to, and any article/post comment thread I read about this is of the majority belief - “She’s Lying”.

If you read the comments, every initial reaction states that he is a monster and should be in jail.

Only the people who actually read the article thinks it might be a scam.

Unfortunately we live in a world where the headline readers far outnumber the detail oriented.

Gold-digger isn't a profession you're allowed to put on a form.

Reminds me of the profession that Zeke’s girl listed on her police report: “sex slave”
