Democrats’ smash and smear agenda reaches new heights

Democrats, Kavanaugh, and ‘The End of Civilization’
by Andrew C. McCarthy

Original Article

He sounds sort of like Robert Mueller:

It was a poignant story coming from Bork. A scholar of great breadth, the late judge was a man from another time: a patriot who’d enlisted in the Marines at 17 during World War II and been called back to duty when the Korean War broke out, even as he embarked on a legendary life in the law.

More from B-Things article:

Quote

Even in 2016, when Republicans blocked Merrick Garland, President Obama’s late-term gambit to fill the vacancy created by the titanic Justice Antonin Scalia’s death, there was no besmirching of Judge Garland’s character.

Gambit? He means nominating a f'n judge like he is suppose to? The person that wrote this is a sh it head

And of course Garland wasn't smeared, he was totally ignore.

And again:

Quote

No one, however, questioned Garland’s sterling character, patriotism, or legal acumen. These attributes, in fact, created real political risk for Republicans. For the GOP, Garland — then a 63-year-old moderate progressive with a strong law-enforcement background — was as good as it gets (which is why Obama, as a lame duck with no leverage, nominated him).

Sure, these great guys in the GOP are saving their smears for Robert Mueller and the FBI is all. Ass holes

I sense Ivanka’s influence, similar to child separation at the border. She can work him better than anyone.

Hell, she may be the only one who can work him.

This Ford fiasco is the maraschino cherry atop the greatest meltdown ever, and even Trump knows it's easier and more effective to just sit back and play nice while the left implodes on this issue.

The President is well aware that the accuser made the exact same accusation against his prior nominee, and that the Republicans hold that evidence.

The most advantageous thing for the President, and the Republican Party, is for her to testify, and then be prosecuted for perjury.

Okay...straight question: do you genuinely believe that evidence exists?

There's a good reason Feinstein is furiously back tracking, and saying things like "it may not be entirely truthful".

Raise your hand if you're in any way surprised that Senate Democrats are insisting that law enforcement act as an arm of their Party?

After all, why shouldn't they have that expectation?  It's been the norm for years now.

Anyways, I’m not sure if it was his Alzheimer’s or a huge lie — but the actor claimed he had liberated concentration camps like the men who went to war did. But he didn’t do that because he was never really in the service. He was an actor.

The link goes to the Trump Foreign Policy thread.  Am I missing something?

I'll add to this, only because I've been trying to get confirmation on it all last night (and couldn't). I'm 50/50 on its existence personally, none of the people I know who might know (not talking to senators or staff) won't deny it outright... but no one has confirmed it either. I think Tasker has a point about DF's retreat, something spooked her. Could be this evidence - could just be the realization that Trump wasn't going to force Kavanaugh to withdraw.

The accuser's connections to Brennan/Langley make it so I can't completely dismiss the possibility. I don't think there will be any way to know for sure unless she testifies. If she doesn't, and the evidence exists, they'll sit on it. If she testifies and it's not mentioned, then we'll know.

Trump probably reviewed his Napoleon: "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

There was nothing that I could find regarding an accusation against Gorsuch from Ford. If true though I see a lot of donkeys with their tails tales between their legs.

Feinstein's retreat is as simple as: she tossed a grenade into the septic tank, and now her work here is done.

She doesn't have to own this.  She explicitly started as "just the messenger."

I find it hard to believe she's been a US Senator since, it seems, the Mesozoic Era, and she isn't smart enough to vet this kind of embarrassment out before she chose to go full libtard.

Who do you think she'd vet it with?  People who share her own confirmation bias.  You think a coastal Democrat seeks outside opinions, particularly when they might oppose hers?

Plus...she wasn't trying to tell the truth.  She was trying to tell a narrative.  "Does it have legs?" is all the vetting she needed.

I just can't imagine what kind of person would support, back or even vote for someone as morally bankrupt as her.
