Hillary, again?

wha'd Bill do now....

Well, she did say he was over blown, but it seems like an odd time to bring it up. I mean, when Bill was repeatedly accused of being a sexual predator and rapist, Hillary and the entire Democratic party went after the woman time and time again. They always defended her husband, the biggest sexual predator in American politics.

So maybe @The_Dude can explain why she's defending her husband before these midterms.

So...  Let me get this straight...

In today's environment we are supposed to throw away the presumption of innocence, and name Judge Kavanaugh a sexual predator, because he's being accused of something, possibly, that happened 30 years ago if it happened, maybe, that the accuser, a CIA operative with multiple George Soros links, who also happens to be vocally and virulently anti-Trump, who refuses to testify about the incident under oath, but told a US Senator who was directly in the pocket of the Chinese government, and the WaPo which is a direct CIA asset, months ago but they intentionally withheld throughout the confirmation process.

Color me unconvinced.

Just listening to someone on the radio right now saying that if they can't get him for rape, he shouldn't be confirmed anyway because...underaged drinking.

"Ford won't appear until the FBI Investigates"

FBI - "This is not a federal investigative matter. There's nothing we can do"

"Kavanaugh should not be voted until the FBI concludes."

"Did you just hear what we said?"

They have no intention of having her appear. Democrats know there is nothing the FBI can do here yet they are somehow allowed to put it out there without pushback.

thanks, Free Media.

I have a serious question..what are the Democrats hoping to accomplish here? If he does not get confirmed, what do they expect to happen? And for the record, I believe this is 100% about denying Trump his guy..its not about "the guy"

I am hoping the mid-terms go all anti-Trump and anti-republican...i think this can energize his base, get Republicans out to vote on what I see now to be a blue wave..and Trump will still get to nominate the next guy right? I mean do they think they can hold this  off for 2 more years ?

Someone explain this to me please..I am missing something. Hate when i feel so dumb!!!!!

the answer is within your post, so you most likely are not as dumb as you might think, with regard here.

they want to deny Kavanaugh because he is viewed as a stauch conservative and if he is put onto the Court, he will heavily tip the scales with a conservative slant. if they can deny him or postpone the confirmation hearing until after the mid terms, by winning the majority, they are hoping that they will be able to deny him outright by a vote. also, if they hold a majority, they can prevent the seat being filled by any other stauch conservative and force Trump to nominate, at minimum a moderate which would better serve their agenda.

i believe the court is considered to be an even split right now with Chief Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Samuel Alito, and Justice Anthony Kennedy all leaning right and Justice Elena Kagan, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Stephen Breyer, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor all leaning left. so if Kavanaugh gets on, it will tilt the court to the right and it is widely suspected that RBG may not outlast Trump, so they are doubly scared.

I think there are a lot of different answers, first of which is they think they can put this off until after the mid-terms and, should they win enough seats, maybe parlay it into a  moderate judge who would be more like Kennedy.

But I think in the end, the left is mostly panicked because they literally have no message going into the mid-terms beyond "We now openly embrace socialism." They are the flip side of the GOP during its early Tea Party candidates. When the GOP had a woman running an ad that says "I'm not a witch," the Dems have a woman Ocasio, who is an equally hot mess because she literally has no idea what she is saying beyond "Socialism good!"

So the Dem's plan right now is rabble, rabble, rabble...with very specific media support calling Kavanaugh a sexual predator.

It's all they have at the moment., especially in light of how Trump is going to release docs that show Obama and Clinton colluding to overtake Trump with the fake Russia story, so they need to make as much noise as possible.

But then again, I could be totally wrong.

But hold off for two years? Trump ain't going to ever nominate a moderate..and if they delay this thing for two years public sentiment of the swing voters like me will turn hard against them long-term, and energize the Trump base short term. I just do not see the upside.

BTW on the ads, the PAC that is running ads for Brat here in VA is really something..think the attacks hurt more than help..can't wait to see the results of this key seat.man going from Cantor to Spanberger in 4 years..Tea party gotta be happy bout that one!

They want people talking about this, not the FISA declass (or what it will show). That's about as far out as they've thought out this strategy.

... Apparently the accuser wrote a similar letter about Justice Gorsuch (Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are 3 years apart and both attended the same prep academy).

Not confirmed yet... working on it.
