Some of the English celebrate English Thanksgiving today.

I had an old friend, passed about 15 years ago, who was a Brit and a Catholic priest.  He did the Requiem for the Dead every 4th of July.

Interesting watching that again. With so many leftists eager to tell everyone what a schitthole this country is, and how we need to be more like Venezuala and embrace socialism and have open borders, it takes a lot of the shine off this day's meaning because it means so little to them.

Seems like only yesterday congress was singing God Bless America together on 9/11. Now all you have to do is mention God or America and they schitt purple twinkies and cry about needing a safe place to cry and work with play-doh.

How times have changed.

Right now the English are celebrating their World Cup victory over Columbia.  Match ended 1-1 and England prevailed 4-3 in penalty kicks.  Talk about dullsville.  Why didn't they just flip a coin to determine who wins?

Too bad that match wasn't today, it would have been an opportunity for some epic trolling.  American fans could have put on Colonial uniforms and sang Yankee Doodle
