UConn James Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/07/02/nfl-to-allow-teams-to-wear-alternates-three-times/ https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/07/buffalo_bills_can_wear_throwback_jerseys_three_times_in_2018.html This is basically what the Bills did last year, with the throwbacks twice and the red Color Rush once in the Colts snow game (since there was no Thursday night game). Wonder if it stays the same or they choose the throwbacks three times. I'm just not a fan of the red unis.
Clyde Smith Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 The red uni's would be hotter with white pants. 3
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I bet we wear the red vs NE on MNF. Probably can get a red out going and really get The place nuts. 1
The Red King Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I think the only reason Bills went with red in the Hoth game was maximum visibility in the blizzard. 6

MJS Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I like the red uniforms for a game a season. It's a nice change up. I'm partial to the color red. But more than once would get old, I think. 3
Fadingpain Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I was just thinking the league needs a more complex system of regulations regarding team uniforms. And then this info. comes out! Thank God! 4
Charlottebillsfan2 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 (edited) Perfect, so we get a first round bye then we can wear the throwbacks for all 3 playoff games including the super bowl win. Edited July 3, 2018 by Charlottebillsfan2 1
Mike in Horseheads Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I think we need more throw back uni's threads.... get it threads LOLOL 3
Royale with Cheese Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I wonder if the day will ever come for the 90's unis. 1

Ignoring the result of the game, I liked the 2009 AFL uniforms both teams would wear when facing each other - Bills whites throwbacks versus Pat the Patriot looked great and I wouldn't mind seeing it again with a much different result. The TN Oilers and Navy Jets were pretty sharp too. Edited July 2, 2018 by JimKellyTryouts 2

It was announced months before that they were wearing red against Indy you can't make a game time decision what uniform you are gonna wear Edited July 2, 2018 by uticaclub

reddogblitz Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Within 10 years NFL teams will be wearing a different suit every week like they do in college is my prediction.

Well they had a good guess that if any game would have winter conditions it would be in December, right? That is like guessing most sunstroke (and running out of water) will occur in September.
