Seems to me many of us (myself included) were trying to come up with a name for Rex's defense his first year here. But then they stepped onto the field. Not saying that about Josh - the guy is the future, but maybe any nick names or phrases should be earned, first? Ha, that happened on the bbmb, too. Was "Cold Front" one of the more popular choices here?

Just isn't that funny. or clever rather I'm not debating the humour or lack thereof, just maintaining that the alteration of 'Tyrod' into 'Tie Rod' is a form of a nickname. Similar to how someone who has 'III' at the end of his name is sometimes called 'Trip', short for triplet. A nickname? Yes. Particularly funny or creative? No. Edited July 1, 2018 by Ridgewaycynic2013

JOE IN HAMPTON ROADS Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 How about "Buffalo Bills Franchise Quarterback"? Kid is going to light it up.

Osi Umenyiora was talking to the press about him before his first game: ""Who is this RG3 guy you guys keep talking about?" Umenyiora told WFAN, via the New York Post. "You talking about Bob Griffin? You guys are giving him a cool nickname already and everything. When he does anything in the NFL, we're gonna call him RG3. Right now, he's Bob Griffin.""
BillsPride12 Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 He could pay homage to John Daly and use "Grip it and Rip it"....would be an appropriate phrase for him Nickname: Allentown Rifle
