Ridiculous the ages of many elected officials in Washington, both parties.  Sad these people don't have something more enjoyable to do in their last years.

House isn't that much better.

It's the Shuffelboard Party at its finest.

Interesting take.  The far left apparently won't stand for disrespecting Trump.

He's baiting them, imo. This was a good win for Trump's outlook re the midterms. The more progressive the candidates, the more likely moderate democrats will either stay home or (possibly) go to the other side come November. So he's hoping they make a big deal about this tweet - to stir up the rhetoric on the fringe left which, while the minority is the vocal majority at the moment.

I agree that it's good for the GOP.  The reality is though that establishment Democrats have defeated most progressive challengers thus far.  This upset is more representative of the far left district.

However, I think Trump would've put the word "socialist" in the tweet if he meant to use the tweet for political gain.  Sometime a cigar is just a cigar.  He pry took some satisfaction in seeing a politician who constantly spoke out against him lose in an upset in Trump's home city.

This is pretty cool for somebody who just lost in today's state of politics.  Kind of sad the guy lost now.  Maybe he's happy to get the heck out of DC.

Wow!  An old white man loudly telling a woman what she was born to do.  That's more like Weinstein than Springstein.

That old joke about a U. S. Senator being the best value you can buy in the United States?  Looks like a Rep is even more of a bargain basement buy.

This story would be wonderful except that Ocasio-Cortez isn't the direction the Democratic party should be heading to attract new (and old) voters.

That's a sickening list, regardless of party.

My family comes from his district. My Grandfather is turning in his grave knowing that Queens will be repped by a Marxist Stalinist Revolutionary hell bent on destroying America for the next 40+ years. And no, the Republican has no chance even on a cold day in hell.
