Interesting that you appear to be attempting to lump all of the right into "the far right."

Nobody here, that isn't merely treating you like a cat toy, is going to play your game.

I got a wonderful recipe for spaghetti sauce the other day. Would you like it? Do you have any favorite foods? Does anybody out there have any contributions they'd like to make to this new food thread?

I was thinking back on this topic, and ran across the pilot of The Newsroom for the first time in years. Re-watched this clip, and think it fits here. It speaks to the larger divide right now on the socialist left (not talking all left or all DNC). America is bad, and it's bad because of capitalism. That's the message in this speech, and like all socialists today this acceptance of "truth" is all that's needed. Not solutions, because they offer none and have even less.

Remember the premise. Will is a republican anchor who's kept his political beliefs to himself because he believes in honest journalism. The entire premise of the show is that honest journalism means picking an ideological side and presenting the new from that position. The entire premise of a show about journalism called The Newsroom is that reporters need to be more politically biased in their reporting

It won Emmys.

Just for consideration...

I could picture Aaron Sorkin furiously writing this in the nude.

Also, it's such a laughable premise.  We're only 4th in exports, 3rd in median household income and 4th in labor force?  So America sucks because we aren't #1 in all three of those categories?  There are zero countries that rank better than us in all 3 of those categories.

This is how you know leftist Hollywood types don't pay attention to sports. "Lebron James wasn't #1 in assists, points or rebounds last year, why do people say he's the best?"

Oh so anyone who recalls the past misdeeds of the far right is now the enemy?

Because the far-right in this country has never harbored any nut-jobs prepared to act violently!

Maxine Waters is the mother of all rough political discourse, and incivility worldwide!

Reading comprehension apparently isn't one of your stronger skill sets.

There really is no reason to continue this conversation as your continued attempts to change the conversation to something we weren't discussing will remain unsuccessful.

It'd be redundant…. The highest office in the land is already advocating for it...

When the left advocates for confrontation it's savagery... When the President does the same, 'it's refreshing.'

Can't move forward with such an obvious double-standard in place.

This is the way our system works. If my person does its because they're great. If their person does it, they hate America.

see D's complaining about new Justice that should wait til after the election to "let the people decide" had no problem confirming Kagan in August 2010.

The same that would have happened to the guy wearing a hammer and sickle...

Which is nothing. They didn't exist. !@#$ off with this nonsense.

If you publicly lie to America, expect to pay a price, whatever it may be.

America is a nation of law and order.

The most fabulously unaware post of the week.

It certainly illustrates the Left's poor logic.

Keep it up.

For some reason, this poster thinks he can associate me with “whatever”, who cares. Yawn.

Clearly, we need way more than just two political parties in this country but beyond that, for some reason the people that scream and yell about free enterprise and open business without regulation want to tell business owners how to behave.

Can we get a group that actually does what they say?

The denial of his posts over the past hour.........................followed by the old "I'm above it all" and "everyone is wrong" gambit.

There's a subtle difference between calling you out for being an !@#$ and empowering the government to forcibly stop you from being an !@#$. I wouldn't expect you to comprehend the distinction.

The irony...

Should I link the times Trump told the crowd to attack? Or just let you reminisce over the good times?

You should. I’ve read more about the late 20s and early 30s than you could possibly imagine.

If if you want to give the government the power to stop free speech, then I’m not sure you can be helped.
