R. Rich Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Considering the Bills didn't have a first round pick, I think they did okay. 2nd round: Got the best center available in the draft in Chris Spencer 3rd round: They picked up this. That ought to make some of you happier.
Ramius Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 hell yah, we got the Nuge... if this happend in real life, i would be ecstatic...
R. Rich Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 There simply wasn't any lineman, offensive or defensive, that was a better value at that 3rd pick. Most of the DTs left on the board are 4th round talents anyways, as are the OTs, centers, and guards.
Tux of Borg Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 No way Nugent is there in the 3rd round! Our best shot is to try to land an extra 2nd round pick and get him there.

This is a MOCK draft and in this one, he was available. It's way too early to get too crazy about this anyway. There's still a lot of free agency remaining to be done that will determine how teams will draft.

R. Rich Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 I think Darrent Williams of Oklahoma State might still be on the board. He's a great cover corner; he's just very small. He could be a good nickel back for the right team.

R. Rich Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 Corner is just not a very deep position in this draft. Then again, not many positions are that deep this year.

Mark VI Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Then again, not many positions are that deep this year. 276680 Which is why TD rolled the dice on JP last year. I don't like any of the top rated QB's this year. RB and Center look to have good depth. Most other positions are weak.
R. Rich Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 Nope. He's still there. I wouldn't expect him to be taken in the first 3 rounds.
ndirish1978 Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Can someone please explain why everyone is on Nugent's nuts?
R. Rich Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 Can someone please explain why everyone is on Nugent's nuts? 277304 I'll try. Because everything is Lindell's fault. If he had made that 28 yard FG, if he were able to make long distance kicks, if he would just buy the Bills and keep them in town, if he would just admit that he was the 2nd shooter on the grassy knoll, if...
