JGMcD2 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I saw today that Tim Graham and Matthew Fairburn will be covering the Bills on The Athletic. I have to say, what The Athletic is doing is amazing. They’re poaching all of the top talent, while other sports reporting entities seem to be faltering. They’re almost forcing folks who are interested in good sports journalism to subscribe, I’m very close myself. I’ve noticed all of the big time names they’ve brought in on the MLB side, and now they’ve got arguably the two best Bills writers in one place. What does everyone else think? 1
PromoTheRobot Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) I just signed up. The special offer pricing cinched it. $42/yr. I've been wanting their hockey coverage anyway. Having a Buffalo bureau got me over the line. Edited June 18, 2018 by PromoTheRobot
Lurker Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Signed up this morning for two years $79.99--equivalent to the cost of a good night out, a pair of Bills tickets in the upper deck or, at scalper prices, a Sabers season ticket... 1 1 1
Zac Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I have been a subscriber. It's more than worth it. The articles by Fairburn and Cover 1 today are better than any Bills article i've read in months with the exception of Graham's pieces on Allen.
Seanbillsfan2206 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Tim Graham is very petty. He seems to have pretty thin skin. Like one of the mods here 2 3
May Day 10 Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I'm going to wait and see how it goes when the games start. Also, if/when they offer a trial, I will check it out then. There is just so much out there already. Seems silly to subscribe unless they provide something unique and exclusive 3

NewEra Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Why does he love to air out all of his drama for the world to see. Love Fairburn. Graham, meh. His tude is just too much for me. 2

Cripple Creek Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 One thing is, so far, keeping me from signing up. His initials are tg and he is a petty, petulant child. I'm not sure I want my hard earned $$$ going his way. 2
Captain Murica Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I'm a big fan of Fairburn and also Cover1. It's nice to see they have a nice team in the works there. 1
Teddy KGB Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Nope. I’m busy spending my money on Arby’s curly fries. 2 2
CommonCents Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 3 bucks ain’t jack, but I’d rather give my money to a bum on the street than support that kind of jackassery. ?Grown man screen shotting texts and blowing someone’s spot up. 1
PromoTheRobot Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) Graham might have violated Twitter's ToS by tweeting what was a private message. Edited June 18, 2018 by PromoTheRobot

Twitter should take a cue from TBN and give ole TG the boot...but that would be doing TG a favour as it might save him from himself
