Considering that the Constitution and US code puts no such restriction on the President, that a self-pardon would be a violation of oath is debatable - not wrong, just open to question.   BU

Pardons are not ordinarily reviewable, however I think it could be reviewed by SCOTUS to answer whether or not you can pre-pardon a person under the Constitution, whether you need to specify what spec
