Who was in goal the last meeting?

Carey Price was in net in the previous game. He wasn't too impressive. His stats are a little better than the backup's but not much different. Price's goals against are 3.17 with a save rate of 0.0895 compared to the backup's 3.74 and 0.0887. According to Paul Hamilton Price who is considered one of the better goalies in the league  is having a below par year. So going to the backup shouldn't be a big determining factor.

I can see the Canadiens figuring that the Sabres beat them at home with Price in net so might as well figure it as a loss well start the backup on the road.

Price has played better recently than he did earlier in the season but he's nowhere near the guy they thought they were getting when they paid him all that money.

It doesn't matter to me who starts in goal but if I were  a player on a hot team, it would be pretty motivating to see teams continue to put their backup in the net.
